I am putting the final touches on this contest. I believe this was the toughest contest for me to judge to date!!!! You submitted poetry that was superb in every respect. I appreciate all who submitted poems and challenged me to new heights as a judge. The results will be published soon. I wish to congratualte all who Placed and all who received Honorable Mention. There were no losers. There was only my opinion that decided the results. Some poems did not place or receive an HM. I loved all the poetry and hated having to eleminate some poems from final selection. I have to remind myself, when dealing with difficult decisions, there are winners and there are not winners...there are no losers.   Mac

Am sure u will do a fine job judging Mac ..as always .. and its always tough doing the placements and even the HM's because so many are so good.. this is why I have doubled up on many of my placements ..so hard to choose just one for each place.. good luck with your task... it was fun to enter ..with luv from the "Sweetheart"

One suggestion, Mac, is to make multiple places like Linda and some others here do. If I find myself unable to choose in my etheree contest, I might have to go with that option. I think in a very very small contest, a few places is appropriate. But In a medium to large contest, I don't understand sometimes why so many poems miss out even from getting an HM. I've seen some mighty good poems by poets here that did not even get HMs after presenting what I felt to be were actually better than some of the other poems that won in some of the contests I've seen here. But I think there is no solution even when doing THAT because the more places you give, then the few who lose, will feel even worse to be on the bottom. It's a very thin line the judges walk. Enough to give us judges all a nightmare. haha. LUv, Andrea
