Fake Friends

I call them friends, they call me fool.
I make them happy, they lie to my face.
They are in my heart, I am in their thoughts.
They exist in my daily mind and prayer, they friend me when they see me.

I call them friends,
They live with me.
They live behind my back.
They are still my friends

***I guess they think I don't know***

Old Man

Old man
Just you and I can stand and understand this,
Why me? Simply because you taught me how.
Remember that dark cold night,
When it was just you and I,
Whispering in the black smoky steam but no fire,
Coming from that lake, that you old man said:
Great heroes all by many felt in and disappeared to never be seen.
Lot I learned from that night.
That even great to the best warriors fall.
That it’s not always by power or intelligence.
We have the power to fall,
So as we have the power to stand up again.
See why, yes you old man.
See why you.
See why I so much deeply boldly love listening to your old stories.
Some are sad to cry for,
Some are funny to inch my stomach.
But old man, they are all worth it.
They teach life,
They are motive inspiration.

Dear Pride

Dear Pride
Since we became best friends I thought to write you this letter.
Since you my mentor, I thought you could know better.
Yesterday has been bad, and I blame you in me.
I had friends of expects, some are friends of friends,
They could have all helped me. Trust me they did want to help.
But you Pride my best friend you whispered in ears
that I got it all under control. And I believed you.
Remember that difficult test I had to write and told you I needed help?
You said I do it myself, I did it and I failed it.
Remember I wanted to ask for the second chance?
You appeared and told me I will be no inspiration if I don’t stand my falls.

So my friend I had this weird dream,
In my dream you were not there.
So I stood up and could face the world,
I was always free to shout out for help,
And everyone was happy to help me.
So I ended up on top of the world.
Respected because I then learned to respect the world.

What We Used To Be

I wish we can be what we used to be,
two beautiful love birds,
we use to fly so high above the sky till we could reach the core of heavens.
our wings used to be a shelter of our own created Love.

I wish we could be what we used to be,
two hearts that beats as one.
Waking up missing each other.
Been together and holding each other.

I wish we could be what we used to be,
because I missed our laughter in the dark of the night,
I missed your smile because when you smiled I knew everything was Alright.
I missed holding you close tight..
I missed our useless fights, that gave us almost sleepless nights.
With you I had hope that this future was bright.

I wish we could be what we used to be.

I Am

I am the truth of the future
Lies of the past.
I am what they had
Now they searching for me.
I am yesterday
Ready for today.
I am joy
 results of pain.
I am success
Benefits of the struggle.
I always do it
It they said I won't.
I am what's left of me
After I gave them almost all of me.
I guess I am an answer
Of a painful sad prayer of my mom.
For them I am
Still I am for I
For they leave sometimes
And I must live everytime.

Approved

Approved.

To our Father who art in heaven,
Please art in papers of our CVs,
Let your will be done on our applications
As it is in heaven.
Forgive us for giving up
As we forgive you for delaying us.
Deliver us from negativity
And lead us not into depression.
May we be approved,
To get jobs
To get bursaries to study,
Business loan application,
Funding application,
Internships.
As far as this hustle has a brother called Nepotism
I hope you remind it that you are the Father of all,
Those that demand blankets to aid us to rise shall fall,
Let us not pay any cent to get any cent
Today we pay with you
So, please let us be Approved.
Amen.

We Are Not Machines

We are not machines

We are made of semen,
We bleed, we feel the pain.
We cry, we have emotions.
We love, we have hearts.
We are not the machines.

Throw the stone on us,
and see us bleed.
Pull the trigger,
And once and for all see us die.
Sent lions on us,
And see us hesitate to faint.
We are not the machines.

We cry, when we are hurt.
We cry, when we are happy.
We cry, when we are disappointed.
We cry, when we lose.
We are not the machines.

Machines needs tools to be fixed,
But we need a word to be healed.
They need our guidance, energy to function,
But we need God in control.
They die now, and get fixed tomorrow,
We die now, and it’s over.
We are not the machines.

Sing Me a Song

Sing me a song
That tells me if am wrong
It doesn't have to be long
Just short and strong.

Sing me a song
That rings in my heart
Even if no words but just beauty of buzzing art
Remind me that I too am smart.

Sing me a song
Language of my soul
Source of my happiness,
A strong song from heart to heart happens to be my weakness.
This weak that makes me strong.
Just sing me a song.
Talk to my heart.

The song of hope
That makes me cope,
The song of love
That keeps my heart loving.
Just your voice
Just your soul
Talk to me,
Talk to be through a song from your heart.

If I Was To Ask a Question

if i was to ask a question.
i would ask what happened to the love that bought us together?
that today we are "fok fok"
if i was to ask a question.
i would face philenders eye to eye,
i would like to know the difference between CAKE to CAKE,
i would like to know the difference between I OWN HER but SHE IS OURS.

IF I WAS TO ASK A QUESTION.
i would ask to see the positive results of cheating, dishonesty, and lies.
i would like to see ones that survived this kinda life.

IF I WAS TO ASK A QUESTION

Reading

I love traveling the world in the comfort of my bed at my own home,
Through pages,
Ink black and white,
Sound of turning pages,
As I age deep into characters,
I know now I am the character
Choosing my favorite
Because here I have a choice.
I learn about pain as they fall and fail
I share a tear as they die
Now I realise that
Pain sometimes is a matter of our own choices,
But with time I realise it wasn't just a story
As I relate too deep with it.
I just love living in the thoughts of shelves,
Feeling myself.
Exactly what I abhor to adore.
I love how every page is different from another
But same book, isn't that odd?
Nope, it's a lesson learnt
That in this life
Years, day, time may be the same
But different experiences we experiencing
So I keep on reading
And I keep on learning this life through every page I turn
