Dear Pride
Dear Pride
Since we became best friends I thought to write you this letter.
Since you my mentor, I thought you could know better.
Yesterday has been bad, and I blame you in me.
I had friends of expects, some are friends of friends,
They could have all helped me. Trust me they did want to help.
But you Pride my best friend you whispered in ears
that I got it all under control. And I believed you.
Remember that difficult test I had to write and told you I needed help?
You said I do it myself, I did it and I failed it.
Remember I wanted to ask for the second chance?
You appeared and told me I will be no inspiration if I don’t stand my falls.
So my friend I had this weird dream,
In my dream you were not there.
So I stood up and could face the world,
I was always free to shout out for help,
And everyone was happy to help me.
So I ended up on top of the world.
Respected because I then learned to respect the world.
