Whom Would I Listen To

Sometimes when am emotionally strangled
I sit in the corner of my room
and think and blink,
also cry untill my eyes run out of tears..

When I am hurt for any reason..

My..
Mind blabbers:
"May be I shouldn't have attained birth"
Specifically ~"Not as a girl"
Why me?!!!
If only I could be a boy ~
Would be physically strong,
could go out anytime without fear,
absolute freedom,
no security required,
no restrictions,
no molestation,
no labour pains..
sobs ..

Occupying the pause..

My..
Heart consoles:
Stop my dear
Throw away the fear
Freeze the tear
And glow like a fire
Face the obstacles being bold
I know you are strong
Being female you can bear a life within
you unlike a male.
Most of all ..
Gender doesn't seem to be an issue..whence there's strong willpower and confidence in you..!!!
Words are too short to describe your abilities,
talents and skills.
So you are empowered & independent.Be Stable.
Otherwise, I might explode.

Hearing those last words
I quickly grab my pillow
embrace it tight
unlock my might
close my sight
and imagine myself in a graveyard
 I tremble ...oops,
That is not the place am supposed to be at mid-twenties..
I have just begun my life
There's lot more to explore
Long way to go.I sigh..

Placing my hand on my heart
listening to the loud thumps
Promised it saying..
I wouldn't give up nor break down for any reason
hereafter...!!!

"Be you" Never copy and transform into him or her!!
Be grateful to lord who has created You for a purpose.
Listen to your heart at the time of conflict;
It comforts you to handle situations with ease.

A Night Ride

One dark night takes me on a ride to an isolated hill where I inhale unpleasantness ..
Wide gleamy monstrous gate opens as the mighty wind blows,
creepy ferns crawl all over the floor.
Eerie garden awaits the lost lover's presence;
There stands a haunted home with a grubby porch at the entrance.
The magnanimous door welcomes me unwaveringly;
To the right there's slaughter hall polished with blood stains.
On the wall, hung portrait of a lady wearing a long red gown with a silver hat and a golden rosette stapled;
Beside protruded, a yearning window decorated by cob webs;
To the left led staircase ,as I step on railing, it crackles like hatching eggs; Carefully I manage to reach the first floor and confronted a quiet room occupied by constant whispers & spine-chilling whimpers...I slowly move inside and envision nothing strange, but I feel something moist dripping on my cheeks from the roof above.
When I look up, the entire strong ceiling collapses,
disembodied spirit arises, floating on air, observes the decaying house from a distance.

Me-The Confined Bird

A bird sings.. mawkish
Sings and dances smooth
She... by doing so
has naturally
forgotten her world.

Soars high upwards
aims to touch moon
but sadly can't..
falls back in nest

the bird is
unable
to achieve

her dreams..
being

"leashed".

Lively Gifts

Gifts are nothing but a parcel of love
with or without expectations.
When one gives -another receives.
I have been bestowed with wonderful gifts by God..
And those are my parents!
And my parents in turn have given me
the most precious gift ..
which was wrapped in a soft creamy towel
that lay in the incubator, eyes closed tight,
tiny fingers grabbing its shiny black hair,
cord clamp stuck at the navel, pearly toes curling,
cute belly raising high & low ..with each breath.
When I peeped through the glass clearly..
I could sight the skin that was pinkish red,
i lifted my feet to reach the box and touch
the soft palm, but a blue dressed nurse
shushed me with a wave..
The tiny ones lips were like strawberry that
carried a divine smile :My eyes filled with light
receiving the sunshine warmth whilst glancing
at the bright neonates face.
And that was a" he"
My little brother.
As they took him away from me he screeched..
I grew emotional being an 4 year old.
Then I eagerly waited for five long days for my mum
to bring him home safe and healthy.
He is a living gift that I received
whom I love unconditionally..now and forever.

Gender

It makes me wonder
This piece is on gender.

Let the heavens thunder
May be it's not a blunder.

Her smiles are warm
There is no harm.

It's only her charm
So let me inform

She is a woman!!!!

Fearing To Bloom

A Garden rejoices when it envisions colourful exquisite blooms everywhere filling the empty spaces.
Lush green grasses are the attire it adorns and flowers become the embellishers.
Even a sad heart would feel enlightened & placid by visiting flowery garden.

In my heavenly serene garden.. once I sat and admired myriad flowers widely seducing the butterflies and bees through its aromatic succulent nectar and pollens..
They were all enjoying their appetizing feast.

At the same time..
I also noticed a pink hibiscus bud curled like a baby not wanting to bloom, preferring to remain a virgin..!!
I keenly observed as the butterflies were trying to kiss the petals and black bees constantly humming tunes to arouse it.

The mother hibiscus did not bother
Instead kept preparing herself to wither as her time was over.
The tiny bud wrapped the petals tight, covered her face and thoroughly weeped cogitating about losing her mom shortly and simultaneously scared by her predators who were competing around to conquer her heart.

Witnessing the struggle there climbs a saviour ant with his warrior team to save her from the trouble. He reaches to stimulate the tip & guarantee her that she will be safe and consoled her to stop worrying unnecessarily.

In few minutes competitors flew away and the bud was free from fear.
Visitor ants said "cheers" and left .
Mother flower bid good "bye" and shrivelled..
As the little one slowly unwrapped her petals to look at her world ..
A tear drop, up from the sky fell upon finally to deflower her.

She being fragile, now bloomed to be the most attractive flower in the garden.
I stood up went closer ,smiled at the blossom captured a picture and conveyed my first good "Hi."
