A treasure untreasured, abandoned and forgot
In a darkened closet much like a burial plot
Misremembered kisses, hugs no longer felt
Twisting into bitterness, where lonesome dwelt
Memories wrapped in soft stuffing
Threadbare keepsake suffering
Cracked plastic smile full of secrets
A slow darkening uniqueness
Awakened within static button eyes
And malevolent intent began to arise
Replacing the love long since perished
Within the toy once so cherished
Now nursery rhymes are reworded wrong
Bent and broken but vile and strong
Weaving into the life and dreams
Of ‘the one who forgot’, causing screams
Growing tendrils mixed with memory and fright
Gaining strength with each passing night
Worming its presence into flesh and bone
Nevermore, nevermore to be alone
And now with one quick and final thrust
The Toy arises and shakes off its dust
Reaches out and takes control
Owning ‘the warm one’ body and soul

Carbon human lives address, express ideas? debate caress'
All mammals made of carbon too' walk and live some are; confined to zoo's, a manmade place to observe

Worming ? with casteration.? A tax on living? The new

I am about to make a request
You might sooner turn down than test,
For all its promise of conquest
Of the hard men, who us detest
And of our doomed end turned a quest:
To start laughing with them the Best,
Their stinking foams for our glad rest,
Our way worming into each breast,
In farms helping them to fight pest,
From grabbing hands property wrest
Each one of them: Most Honored Guest
To be accordingly addressed...
You mark by words like on-shirt crest:
Watchers shall us praise from East and West

Lithesome words like ‘love’, ‘loyalty’
And ‘liberty’
Lie, like mollusks on the sea
Bed; closed clam shut
Not revealing
Anything but
An unctuous feeling
And when prized open
By a devouring question
The contents give one
Indigestion.
So let’s not swallow
Such squirming terms
These loathsome, lithesome, worming words.
Meaningless and absurd
But if they are our sole default,
Let us take them with a pinch of salt.

no one calls me by my name anymore
in fact no one ever calls
I look out to you my friend
my ocean of nothingness
and I see
the endless impossibilities
that will never happen
eventho I think they will
I will my might to the painted moon
worming her way into my night
and I hold her if just for a fleeting second
her warmth means everything
even if it's not real
I feel, I know I do
even if it's your blood on my hands
my missteps,
mistakes
misfortune of missing out
your rainbow'd gold
or silver or red
your precious stead
but truth be dead
as life
untold in the waves of day
we hold no answers
until our final rite

The Restaurant Menu has a picture.
Three golden brown Pancakes
A large corn colored slice of butter
Melting on top running over the sides.
Griddle Cakes doing a Nathalie Wood impersonation
Drowning in a sea of thick maple syrup
Cartoon like ribbons of aroma rising upward.
The old man made them every Sunday morning before church.
Which he never attended
Black hair slicked back
Partially stained white Dago-Tee
Cigarette dangling from his lips.
The ash worming longer with each Popeye exhale
From the side of his mouth
Large bowl on his left hip
Attacking the batter with grunts of enthusiasm.
Tattoos on his arms flexing larger then smaller
Giving the appearance they were dancing.
Tatted when he was a Cook in the Navy
During World War II.
I imagined him storming the beaches of the South Pacific
With spatula in hand
"Don't need to cut'em with a damn knife.
Use your fork "
He'd holler wrestling the knife from my hand
Then throwing it into the sink.
Slapping the back of my head in anger
No Waitress wait!
I'll have the Waffles instead
With strawberries if you have them.
Yes, Waffles
We never had a Waffle Iron.

Right forget the imagination
Start in the dark
worming the earth as a snack
Once had a dream to be twice
I like colours or might have been something i Red
We can't forget
even stupid questions
sometimes deserve a stuppider answer
don't you
Which words EnTIce
Some simmer like the mist that hums the street lit shore
Innuend though
Personal i think wisps is untouchable

Hey you old cat...
like I can't see you or something !
down there worming …
around my feet and legs
lovin' up on me !
We're still here...today
you and me.
Just like the days and years before.
Sure I'm lookin' for
a whole lot more....ain't that natural?
We all want more than we can get...
or need....But that's Ok, Ain't it.
I'll still brush the dandruff
out of my hair every morning.
And I will shake the dust off of
my feet every night.
We all owe allegiance to our
personal cleanliness and moral endeavors.
And to see the culmination of aspirations
long overdue in the making.
So, with those few words
I now bid adieu, adieu to you,
and you, and you, and you.
Wherever you are....and wish for each
to find your shining star.

going to cry when they are gone.

Alzheimer’s is the devil incarnate secretly waiting in the wings to violate
Lovely people who are unaware this evil disease is in hiding somewhere
Zigzagging silently through their brain ~ never to be the same again
Hell on earth it steals their mind with total confusion left behind
Evilly worming ~ silently destroying ~ sucking your loved one’s life away
Injecting poison into family and friends, breaking hearts their pain never ends
Making sure they know you are there, to laugh and sing helps quell their fear
Enjoy time together, each minute of each day, before life slowly fades away
Remembering what they did has gone; but how they felt stays with them long
So hug and kiss, talk and sing, look into their eyes, they are still there within

Who could be content
with this wretched world
religions bribe
death; bovine silence
tears at my beating red heart
without passions arc
there would only be rational thought
and grizzled earth
arctic cold
poetry beats the gravity
of this rock
deepens the mouth of inspiration
worming through
the machinery of desperation
like Jesus floats
eloquence it's revenge
a helpless idol

The fallen corpse, a mighty giant
no more than wood,
splintered as if he could
escape the final tyrant
that is death
but never would
as he never had before...
but look!
beneath the pliant
timber rests a spark of green
subtly showing,
worming, growing,
stretching, yearning to be seen.
Heavens know that earth below
may be dying but buried beneath the snow
lies the seed, it will be freed!
On once blooming parents,
children now rise and bleed
to die again,
to live again, falter and rise
body growing stronger
to meet its demise
the wise
once said death comes for all that is living,
they died, a fool can see
their deeds have given
rise to you and me; no greater life is there,
reaching,
teaching,
breaching from beneath the rotting tree
the sapling, once again free.

Walking on a rain-drenched street,
Right against the sidewalk berms,
Glancing down beside our feet
We spotted many slimy worms.
A few were flattened, squished and still
But some were slowly squirming.
What a treat that fills the bill
With grandkids, to go worming!
I would highly recommend,
When it's damp and cloudy,
Taking time so you can spend
Some minutes to say howdy
To those weird and wiggly guys
That slither out from under,
Filling us (in every size)
With just a little wonder.

On the Verge
Every hand is pocket bound,
eyes lifted from the TV’s hallowed glow.
Breath is released in a low sigh;
worming, squirming, squat.
Thrust out of bounds in tandem,
nothing is done alone.
You’re seen, you’re sought, you’re it,
maybe you need a pill?
Vomit is on the upswing,
visual stimulation overload.
Brain cells can’t sort this one out,
tears are dry as bones.
Your neck is turned full sideways,
the punch is coming on fast,
Quick reaction is not your strong suit,
fall to the floor, break like glass.
What is happening to this picture,
not set, not neat, not bound?
Houses, cars, children, stores,
benchmarks strewn by the way
You’re in need of a clutch hit,
your world is stumbling on.
Detachment, resentment, complacence,
smug on your rug as a bug.
Happiness is a gun over-warmed,
second hand shits on a turd.
Feet of clay encased in cement,
your vomit is now overboard.

There is a worm
does not live in soil
bowl of animals it lives not
it cannot be in a cage
left loose, free to roam
it eats big bulls
even lions it chews quickly
elephants are too small
plantations collapse at a strike
whole nation it destroys
de-worming tablets are nothing
they make it fatter, tougher
fire brigade is only solution
