Wordless

During a season of writer's block,
my pencil idly lays...
My notebook rests untouched on
my desk for days...

Whenever I receive a message
I don't know what to say in reply,
Frustrated with a loss for words,
Tears start to well up in my eyes.

Where is that key
to unlock the words?

My intent is wordless

In the wilderness of bewilderment,
Sculpting different sorts of thoughts,
Where intent fades, needing no interment,
And truth exudes from all its rots.

There lies the stark resolve for my future,
A slender hope of life ahead,
Bound together by a catgut suture,
That time corrodes until it's shed.

All kept away from prying eyes,
Ever before my intent was conceived,
Just to keep all

Wordless Peace

The river moves but never dies,
It carries all it cannot keep.
Beneath its glass, the silence lies,
A cradle where the old dreams sleep.

I watch it wind through stone and silt,
A silver ribbon pulled by time.
It bears the weight of love and guilt,
And every joy we failed to climb.

I see my face in trembling glass,
A thousand selves

The Poet

Once upon a dreary time
A boy set out to note a rhyme
Pen in hand with paper lined
Prepared he was to share his mind
But thoughts lay barren and confined
Without sense, reason, or rhyme
Suffered he did this weary time
Both his soul and cheerless mind
His eyes grew dark, his face grew lined
And tho he sought to redesign
Something, anything

Wordless Words

Countless times of talking,  
On the prepared table of meeting,  
Killing is a sin and a silly action,  
A sin that brings sorrow and suffocation.  
Holy books wisely say:  
We are equal in all ways.  
Now look at how the world dismantles,  
A peace broken down into

The Dying of the Poet’s Dream

I have this fear that beyond my years 
Every word I’ve said or written will be gone,
Like dust in the wind or seas where rivers end 
These thoughts of mine will vanish with the dawn.  

No money or fame do I proclaim 
Nor legacies of great things I have done,
No battle scars or discovered

Hope is a Bird Wordless that Sings

I watch first rains on dusty countryside, 
And know, no pathways etched are by despair, 
And yet, hope comes like first showers to guide, 
Give ample hints on how to go and where. 
And a way out appears from nowhere, 
With hope in heart walked hast man longer miles 
On dead stretches, pathless alone that

Lost For Words

These Words Are Not Mine
They Are Borrowed,

Like Everything 
On This Journey.

Still… They Penetrate. 
As A Knife Through Soft Skin

Touch My Heart Like
Water Laid Upon A Stone. 

Press Firmly To Me 
With A Forged Heat

Scatter My Feelings 
In A Power Of Hurricanes 

Until I Recognize Myself
Being Changed Forever

Like The First Time
I Touched Your Lips

Wordless, Breathless, 

Wordless Wind

Gone with the wordless wind.
Confined by the source of the mind.
A world that found punter ways.
Is an abyss full of yesterdays.
A permanent resident of the rock.
Where variety becomes a roadblock.
An aesthetic view is a mark of quality.
Or am I the only one who has curiosity?

Without one word said
Poetry would be dead
With the ending unsaid
Speak now or hide your piece
With written words of poetry

Or,
Live a life of speechless unrest
Once it captures and captivates
The rest is:
A story that must be told

Writing down words of mystery
Creating new words for history
Capturing the mind with intrigue
Creating wonder with esteem

Not all can walk this path

Collapsed the forest, sand rises, storms blow 
Underneath your eyes, I catch my eye 
Get up 

Eddy inside streams, Streams inside astounded 
Life
