Notes About The Poem

Lost For Words

These Words Are Not Mine
They Are Borrowed,

Like Everything
On This Journey.

Still… They Penetrate.
As A Knife Through Soft Skin

Touch My Heart Like
Water Laid Upon A Stone.

Press Firmly To Me
With A Forged Heat

Scatter My Feelings
In A Power Of Hurricanes

Until I Recognize Myself
Being Changed Forever

Like The First Time
I Touched Your Lips

Wordless, Breathless,

Lost.
