Golden fog surrounded Cherrie in a kind of woodsy embrace
She had never seen the world this bright at six a.m. before today
A great day to walk in the oaks, she thought, but she grabbed her cloak
No wolves, however, she felt a bit like Little Red Riding Hood now
Glittering joyful orbs followed her progress down the rainbow path
A mystical feeling was in the air; an expectation of wonderfulness
She felt more alive than she usually felt, enthusiastic about today
Her birthday, where she was being overseen by her spiritual guides
Awed, she stared at the prettiest sunrise
Sky gave her an enormous sense of peace
The feelings of love way down deep inside
Showing a flock of early morning geese
Soft pinks and oranges showing such flair
Geese honked their way up to her hiding place
Feeling pure wonderfulness in the air
Revealing God’s work in her husband’s face
They sat drinking coffee with voices low.
Enjoying the squirrels collecting nuts
Beauty of the day shining them with glow.
Sharing their secrets over sweet cold cuts.
Golden lively leaves spinning and dancing
Made her autumn heart go pitter prancing.

Wonderfulness
Puppies, bikes, and tart lemon pie.
The color orange, and a butterfly.
Cinnamon smells and things that fly.
Wonderfulness.
Favorite jewelry and love for yourself.
Dolls that will never sit on a shelf.
Faeries, gnomes, and the occasional elf.
Wonderfulness.
The helpful people who are kind and good.
Tiny rooms and berries, deep in the woods.
Faithful children who think you always could.
Wonderfulness.
An all-consuming joyful hobby that makes your heart aspire.
A strong hug, a knowing smile, an outrageously fun choir.
An excited feeling, unexpected art to long admire.
Wonderfulness.
Believe me...buddy:
I've been through my ups and downs!
Stay strong, child of His!
I feel so sublime
Like a verse with cheery rhyme
Yes – wonderful time!
I let out laughter
I squeal with childlike joy…and
A waterfall? Oh boy…
I chillax and breathe
In and out…calming my nerves
I’m a fearless man!
Thrilled, but terrified
You’re fine – all I have to do
Is go with the flow!
I drift on calmly
Fate’s drawing near, don’t worry!
Accept the challenge!
Ch-chilled to the bone
I’m about to lose control
I need self-control!
Relax, boy! Kick back
Come on, man! Break a leg – hah!
I can face my fears . . .
I am colliding
I’m letting go of my boat
Ooh, I am gliding!
I feel superb vibes,
Crawlin’ up and down my spine
Wonderful feeling!
Listen up...buddy!
My heart has been pumped with glee
You heard my heartbeats?
