The World Outside My Window

All the days are not the same
Sometimes there is sunshine
At times grey clouds hover above
Need to be patient and all will be fine

In this vast world there are many different people.
Each one undergoing some or the other struggle.
Need to come out of my own cocoon
And peep at the world outside my window

To experience the different shades of life
It is important to see the world with wide open eyes
Be sympathetic with all around me.
See the wide vast world around without bias.

Doing Swimmingly

I a woman of sixty and seven have come to realize
There is more here going on than is evident to the eyes

What is allowed by ego to filter through our defences
Is not the sum total registered by our senses

As we are able to carry the weight like a mother doting
Incrementally it sifts it through without sugar coating

We see what we are ready to see unedited without bias
No matter the seas that lay ahead we say in confidence Try Us

Last Friday week I learned to swim after being the banker for years
Finding I'm hyped to name and address all my other fears

I want to live life conscientiously enslaved to nothing but God
The trainers are off on my way giving my governess a nod

Premium MemberFun: Same Songs

The same songs on my playlist,
Same songs all loud and clear,
Of all the choices I have each day,
Same songs are what I hear,

You see, on shuffle, or mix, or hash it up,
My library’s a million deep…
Same songs are chosen without bias?
Same songs are on repeat!

It’s like they’ve changed what random means,
Presorted is what it is,
Same songs playing all the time,
Same songs are what appears,

But that’s O.K., it’s fine with me,
These same songs, I must confess,
Are the ones I’ve grown to enjoy the most,
These same songs I think are best.

A Little Kindness Never Hurts

The capacity of kindness,
the surplus of charity,
people give all,
without deficiency.
Sympathy without bias,
belief without bitterness,
inspire kindness.

Unity surrounded by disarray,
liberty contained by suppression,
charity begets unkindness,
some are led by oppression.

Moralizing harmony and kindness,
should come from the spirit of human shame,
Love and kindness do not come in class breeding.
A dog is not just for Christmas is a poor saying,
The loving thoughts eradicate kindness,
The mouth opens and speaks only of audacity.
follow,
the path of kindness,
don’t kid yourselves of being blameless,
you’re both destructive,
and malign.

Attractive lips,
Evolve,
by expressing,
Only,
words of kindness,
as language is honey,
Upon,
the lips.

A soul mate conceding all the loving-kindness;
Bestowing unto me tender leniency,
For all my transgressions.

A decent Christmas to secure,
The triumphant hope survives;
Children of God shall smile,
A little kindness changes live.

Premium MemberFreedom For All

We hope to be treated kind, without bias
So often we're sorely disappointed

From the start, we’re taught how to love & hate
But life teaches us lessons, along the way

Different beliefs don’t mean either is wrong
Educational values arise from all cultures

Covered in ash, at New York's ground zero
Working together, colors obscured… no judging

Our servicemen fight, protecting one another
Gender, race… religion aren’t of the soldiers concern

Our beliefs should always shine through us
Striving to maintain basic human rights & freedom for all

Uncaged Bird

Uncaged Bird

Today, I had the instinct
Of an uncaged bird
I felt what an uncaged bird feels:
The feeling that I can fly
And the freedom to fly as I wish
So I decided to fly around the world
To explore its fulness
Not leaving out its emptiness
To explore its glamour
Without bias to its squalor
In the course of my traverse
I landed in the house of the poor
I beheld their pursuit of riches
I landed in the house of the cynics
I caught a full glimpse of their pessimism
I landed in the house of the oppressed
I saw their crave for freedom
I landed in the house of the greedy
I heard their never-ending melody
of "We want some more."

Brother's Keeper

We are our brother’s keepers
for this duty we came into the world
how else can we thank our Creator;
for the life we never applied for!

The wealth we have with us
natural talents endowed to each one
we use as custodians and trustees
to serve fellow men without bias

Great and wealthy nations of the world
feel one in unity with the impotent
have empathy with the suffering
It’s the best way to be brothers’ keepers

The world we live in is temporary
the wealth we control is temporary
the life we so cherish is temporary
But brotherly life gives permanent bliss

In a Darkened Room

In a darkened room
Where movement is
But heard or felt
Contact incidental
Sounds without shape
See only with our minds

In a darkened room
All are the same
Bodies without bias
Opinions vetted
Ideas exchanged
Between unseen sources

In a darkened room
All words equal
Perspectives void of prejudice
Paradigms erode
Race dismissed
We are but one

Let the conversation begin
In a darkened room

I Said a Prayer

I said a prayer for my fellowmen,
The world needs people who’re
Gentle, kind, fair, want the same
For self and others too.

I said a prayer for my family,
To be trusting, loyal, honest,
Supportive, understanding, defending
Branches on the Family Tree.

I said a prayer for old time friends,
Now having thoughts different from
Yesterday, where loyalty, interest
In same things erupted the atmosphere.

I said a prayer for acquaintances
Once sharing ideas, future plans;
Have we all met them in the self same way,
Or did agendas drastically change with time?

I said a prayer for Christian selves,
Who having been born not of woman,
But of Spirit under the Blood of Christ;
Striving without bias to do the best we could

I said a prayer for lower creatures,
The land and universe in which we live.
Care-takers we all are of God’s Earthly Gift
Of life to live down here!

Being

To see with eyes unclouded.

To feel with the hearts mind.

To reason without bias.

To show love as a serene sunset,

casting warmth on all.

To listen to all, even to the grass

as it grows.

As a radiance of voices and tones.

I Shall Not Let Myself To Get Away Easily

My eyes are red and mind is indignant
And a face I have too much annoyed
You need not to bother them at all
It is true that I am angry and vexed
And that is not with any one of you
But i am enraged and infuriated with myself
To lead a life and just to sustain
I need to go down and to such a low
From taking bribery to telling lies
Doing conspiracy and spreading malice
As if I do not have any human quality
Nor have I any human value or merit
I am totally disgusted with myself
and fed up with this life which wants
more than the things I can honestly earn
and manage ,a huge pity on me,
I cannot live a life, just and true,
without bias and without prejudice
It is an utter shame that I could not take
A balanced view over matters till date
It is too long that I fail to win over
Fear, favor neither have i control over lust and greed
My eyes are red and I am really furious
I shall not let myself to get away this time
and walk away it off the hook easily

Conscious Conscience

See what eye views beyond protected confines
Hear through ear that which is clear to understanding and without bias
Smell well what brews and stews the news and shapes our views
Make haste to taste truth in expressive communication that melds and welds our
appetites
Feel how much touch will recognize beyond physical and provide a means by
which differences are bridged
And gaps closed for freedoms’ opening for all to sense
To experience through our common senses
A mirrored reflection of conscious conscience
