Premium Member Blue Rose

Smelling a Blue Rose
Reminiscent of Lenore
Owner of my Heart

Touching the Blue Rose
Remember Lenore's Softness
Velvety smooth skin

Seeing Blue Roses
Encircling my LOVE Lenore
My Heart leaps for joy

Hearing the Blue Rose
Whispering LOVE'S Melody
Erotic LOVE song

A Blue Rose's tear
Comes forth as the morning dew
Dries upon my cheek

To My Beloved -- L E N O R E

Premium Member True Blue

It’s my favorite color and I reckon it’s true
It goes very well with all I’ve been through

For I have embraced the bluest of days
Brought upon myself by the darkest of ways

They say that my eyes are as blue as the sky
Especially when their tired from the tears that I cry

When I first glanced at Lake Tahoe for heavens sake
I thought, “Nothing on Earth is as blue as this Lake”

Blue as the sky or so it would seem
I found sobriety and answered a dream

I remember I cried the day that I heard the news
No longer would Stevie Ray be playing the blues

Blue is a color but know it’s also an emotion
When I was in Hawaii it was the color of the Ocean

See, blue is more than a color it’s part of our soul
For folks at the fair it’s their number one goal

Sweetheart even this love that I hold for you
Can best be described by the words “True Blue”.

Inspired by the COLOR contest and of
course it was penned for my wife.

Premium Member The Salted Leaf

Crystal sapphirine salted leaf,
The forlorn friend of aqua rose.
Memories of ages, only the leaf knows.
Bright blue tears of eternal grief.
The wedding bands confirm our love.
Passion, ardent affection for life.
I and Lenore forever my wife,
Beautiful as a pure white dove.
The eye of the rose reflects all,
You see the past in a single glance.
The aqua rose: Lenore, did me enhance.
Away she flew, to kingdom hall.
Why? Did she die; I do not know.
Answers in the blue crystal salt,
Sapphirine leaf will sorrow halt.
I eat the leaf for status quo,
My heartbeat quickens, then a smile.
Lenore, my wife doth call me hither.
Aqua rose begins to wither.
The saga must continue.
