God, who never gives us more than we can bear…will always make a way for our over-whelmed souls to find relief. Amen. And we press-on.

He said…
he awoke…to find…
Tears…
streaming… his face
and wondered, but
even more than that…
yearned…to recall
the dream? the vision…?
that place…
Where his…
well-built, secure…
impenetrable …dam
which received and harnessed
the compiled agony…of
all…digested pains…
all his life…
had begun to …fissure.
Tears…
from sleeping eyes…ran…
free of constraint
billowing forth from pent-up…sores…
unhampered by objections
escaping from, alas…a man!
Waters…
which only once before
in his entire living
so long ago yet, while awake
…had he bore.
And…
he pressed to remember
the…local
not consciously…no, never
consciously…!
but to imagine that
unconscious moment’s ember
When God…
in His Great Mercy…reached
releasing the grievous
accumulation of cruel,
oppressive, stagnated…
waves …
ere…that which his soul
could no longer bear
…Tears

   Fragrance of jasmine
   seems devine
   touching my soul
   rippling with heart beats
   murmuring emotive pulses
   swimming, sinking
    in abyss of
    forgotten feelings
    of bygone days.

     Sweet smell of jasmine
     enchanted my Dad, Grandma
and also me as if inheritance
     flows through sweet fragrance
holding memories of closeness and involvements.

     Whelmed by bliss of remembrance
with flavour of favourite flower jasmine.
      Jasmine with its alluring redolence
      sprays ethereal aroma
      claiming my love and reverence.

The Three Good F Words - Family, Fans and Friends

(A triple acrostic)

F - Faithfulness
F - Fervence (significant reverence)
F - Feeling good with neighbors

A - Ambitious and admirable you
A - Acknowledging animals endearingly
A - Apple to my eye… oh my…

I — I love You, Lord of Accord
I — Imagine illuminating illusions and allusions of appreciation
I — Ideas flood my brain of beautiful benevolence and brilliant blessings

Tension-whelmed and…yet…
Tormented by uncalm spirits in the realm of resurrections unknown to me…I’m of the Spirit, not man alone
Tranquility matters to me and I’m all on my own…humans are unreliable and always changing, yet God never changes…He’s incredible and dependent on our peace-making skills and talents of plenty

Hope I have faith too no doubt! Walk His narrow route…
How about a handshake of gentility? What about you free me from my captivity? Sin has enslaved me inwardly
Handsome hurts…

Relentless yearning tints unrestrained
the spectral edge of the halcyon horizon,
where the nascent scarlet sun unveils
the facade of the decorous dawn,
brings to me across the million miles
of dreaming detour corridor,
the sparkle of the sapphire sea,
shining with the tinge of avid allure.

I stand whelmed at the finite fringe
of the primordial vastness vista.
Its ceaseless vigor coiling
the collapsing crests of the swelling waves,
once had brought the relics
of the drowned mariners to the shore,
returned with their memory
to the fathomless serenity of oblivion.

The embrace of the silver sheet washes
your bone-fringed footprints on the beach.
As the melancholic waves sing
to the moonbeam ballet of the blue night,
I search for my lost mermaid,
floating away on the stardust trail,
and sets sail on the serenading winds
to where my heart is.

A rolling pebble tossing lonesome
with the rhythm of the tides of time,
I’m submerged in the sea of sanguinity
of the rapturous reverie.
Through my fingers I don’t let
the golden fervent sands slip,
for I turn the bones to ivory,
design a dainty diadem for you.

Torn up by tearZ

Sorrow-whelmed and sad
Tearing me apart by thoughts
Shedding tranquil tears…

Conquered my demons
I’m stronger than I realize
I can face my fears…

Nightmares haunt me so
Scaring me into sadness
Ditched the world of woe…

True, living a lie
My fantasy is to be
With you, stay here please

Drowning in my tears
Then, I feel joyous and glad
Grief turns to relief . . .

Not Good Enough

Dimmissed, defective, unimportant,
Discounted, unworthy,
Unnoticed, undervalued,
Guilt-ridden, under-employed,
Underpaid, misunderstanding,
Unempathetic, overwhelmed,
Under duress, under siege,
Over-whelmed,
Over-dose, undertaker, underground

Up the delicate dale
of latticed life,
at esoteric edge
of sinking sky,
hermit horizon
shimmers sensuous,
glows paled passion.

On convolute contours
of scrambled dream,
whirlpool desire
swivels in inert stream,
arcane mindscape
usurped unsculpted
in twilight obscurity.

In platitude plateau,
the final flow
originates inspired,
ordained for
integral fusion
with supreme sea,
the end embrace
of sublime silence.

Suffused whelmed
with sunrise hues,
longing precipitates,
perpetuity illusion
embeds eternity efflux,
carries virtually
the vibrant soul
to the buoyant bay
of bliss.

I like to read the Real Estate
To see what money buys.
Of course, I’m never moving
But it’s fun to fantasize.

This week’s had an apartment
That there’s no way I would choose
Since the “Cons” in the description
Listed “underwhelming views.”

To pay that kind of money,
What would mean a lot to me
Would be looking out the windows
Feeling whelmed by what I’d see.

Plighting Our Troth Or Trothing Our Plight

We plight our troth for little but froth
To be whelmed in plight, ashes and sackcloth
The phrase is plain but blind we remain
It is hard to enjoy a stone broth!

Tribute To L . MILTON

   winter climbs to eaves
      icicles growing longer
          dripping tears of joy.

The above poem is written By Milton on December 5, 2022

I was whelmed to go through as incidentally it matched my feelings.
Perfect presentation on Winter. I recollect my honey moon trip to a hill station
exactly showing similar picture. Literally speaking Icicles were hanging from
eaves growing longer ! Might be dripping tears of joy.
Chilled sensation in room longing for cosy warmth.
I admired. I was touched.

My Reverence to L. MILTON

Whelming Autumn

Me whelmed! Watched butterflies to fly
    fluttering wings! Frolic and free.
     Blossoms swinging petals in glee.
     Sunny day! Cerulean sky.
     Outdoor romance: Lovers may try.
     Me whelmed.

   Auburn Autumn shining in spree.
  Chirping sterlings-sparrows : Swift, spry.
With glass blades dawn-dews making tie.
    Cheerful children making merry.
   Me whelmed.

As Blue As Blue Hole

       Cerulean sky kissing horizon
       in lovely Lavender landscape.
      Dense Indigo -Blue stream line
as Blue as Blue hole in oceanic charm.

      Your sapphire eyes to blink
shackling link with my blue dreams.
I swim amd sink to drink desires
in depth of blue beauty of your lilac looks.

Me whelmed in splendor of your glance
sparkling in glory and grace through long eye lashes.
Ecstatic enchantment in gorgeous blue hue.
as Blue as Blue hole in oceanic charm.

PALE MOON

      Pale opal-like depressed Moon
on ebon night in charcoal turquoise sky
peeped through dark grey scattered clouds.
Soft glow casting sober polite glance looking morose.

Whelmed and mesmerized I am to gaze.
My forgotten love of bygone days
whispers and sighs merging in dim hazy glaze
      of maroon Moon.

Off and on black clouds try to hide the Moon.
Time to time it slips to show dull face
     emerging from clouds
I reminisce grief stricken lost love.

  I sink in despondence
  drinking dormant dreamy desires
seeking serenity in illusive drowsy dwindled
 lunar lamentation.
