In this moment, choosing release
We thus give birth to freedom's seed
Doing nothing, as we unfreeze
Head and heart allow love to lead

God’s love and light is our soul's need
With no cravings left to appease
Yielding neither to fear nor greed
In this moment, choosing release

This life's a gift, from God on lease
And with His laws, having agreed
Praying to Him, to bless us please
We thus give birth to freedom's seed

Flowing gently, our will we cede
Devout, standing firm like the trees
Our heart is pure, where bliss beats breed
Doing nothing, as we unfreeze

Love in love with love holds the keys
Our soul's ascent soon gathers speed
We feel bliss amplitude increase
Head and heart allow love to lead

Oh hermit, voice of conscience heed
Gentling thought, load on heart decrease
We’re living light, why act weak kneed
God within enables with ease
In this moment

Goodbye

Give me your goodbye
Give me away

Give me that stone cold expression of your precious face;
Give me that old, slow confession of your pestered faith

Give me swift heartbreak;
Give me quick heartache

Give me my pain.

Give me that runway;
Give me that runaway

That stumbled weak kneed;
That "why me?" God prayer

Give me your goodbye
Give me away.

Ebola

Ebola
By Linda Hays-Gibbs
A horrible deathly disease has spread
With terrible swiftness and silent dread
Our people with frantic astonishment seek
Why does our government seem so weak
Not only do they expose our children to it
They won't give us a Czar that even knew it
A man with no medical expertise
While our borders are open wide to disease
I'm afraid we have no guardians here
Only weak kneed idiots
It seems so clear
We need someone to lead us against ISIS too
Cause nobody knows what to do
But now it's Ebola that sends us screaming
Somebody wake me I hope I'm dreaming

Riding On

RIDING ON

Destination Dallas
home of the cowboys
land of the brave
intentional target
aimed with precision
at new paths to pave

gravitational phase
surrealistic
skyward wave

spurred on to
something new
beneath God’s
sun and moon

eyes turn inward
anchors pull out
onwards toward
landfalls legends
devoid of doubt

brevity flawed
weak kneed but
hardened jaw
riding on….

Premium MemberDazed

a drop of my blood fills my tears,
tears that roll down my  cheek, past
the frozen  expression glued to my face,
standing weak kneed before you, feeling abused,
dazed by the velocity, the ferocity of your
tongue lashing, steals the breath of my
existence so Dad why are you surprised
a drop of my blood fills my tears

A Confronting

My soul in me to anger stirs, and I
Like a panther that cannot prowl my home
Pushed back from the forest invaded, to die
Edged by concrete; attacked if dare I roam
My own God-given habitat, shall then
I become another victim vile when
My claws unsheathed, spring unflawed the air
And revenge reeks its angry havoc here?

You do not know the primal power tamed
Within the forest of my frame, your greed
Has used me, habitat and fear, now gamed
The hunted the hunter may yet exceed
And not from concrete my cold claws may bleed
But from you trembling before me weak kneed.

Doubt

A wandering wavering wind bleeding doubt
wraps tightly ‘round its' victim
in a masterful landscaped sketch of anger
it falters and stumbles
in its' indecisive nature
that at times sways around
the arch of a sword
determined only to find the truth of its' mark

An unsettled mind
decides only to take itself out of everything,
it finds joy in being nowhere
and in that it hides
behind a misted mask of silence
it may cry with tears of unknown sorrow
as it dances its' weak-kneed waltz
around the truth that dares
to spin out of control

A lumbering languid mindset
is preoccupied with listening
to every single word of every conversation
but never acting on anything
it search for conspiratorial theoretical indiscernible meanings
where there is nothing;
It is a foolish denial of the possibility
of easily accessible truth

An unguided emotional eddy of evasiveness
tangles around cords of hesitancy
it swirls in fearful tranquility
only broken by
strong communication
that is covered in truth and love
and in honesty and compassion
