OH! WATERMELON!
Oh watermelon, you’re a sweet, juicy summertime delight
inviting us all to take a refreshing bite.
Your juice drips down, a sugary, sticky stream.
You’re the taste of summer, delightful but not clean.
Your rind cracks with a satisfying sound.
Your dark seeds we gladly spit out on the ground.
Your seeds are a snack for birds on a warm summer night
who feast on them underneath the silvery moonlight.
Oh watermelon, you’re a cooling treat,
an invigorating escape from sun's sizzling heat.

Watermelon is a hard word
to try and find a rhyme
And I thought that I could
If I would take the time
So, I've travel far and wide
From Mount Dora to Saint Helens
But couldn't find a word
That rhymed with
watermelon
I have asked Honest Men
all the way , Down to a Felon
I've whispered pretty please
Other times simply yellin'
Searching every corner of the earth just like Magellan
And I still can't find a rhyming word for
watermelon
I've pondered over books
From real trash to Best Sellin'
Worked out every rhyme scheme
Till my brain started swellin'
If Mister Webster knows, he for sure ain't tellin'
About a word that just might rhyme with
watermelon
Where shall I go?
They ask of us what I cannot sacrifice,
So help.
You, scared of the void of dice,
Do not fear what you know has result,
Let their greed grind to a halt,
Their evangelism is disguised with the veneer of a mission,
As they push us back in this revolting schism,
Help us.
Retrieve our right to humanity,
Relieve the wound that has lasted eternity,
We are not dispensable.
We are amorous and intense with emotion.
Please just give your devotion.
Devote like us to this cause where we stand
Stop letting them take over with the wave of a hand.
Liberate us.
Please.
My love like steel and silk
cuts through you
splutters your blood
watermelon juice down a throat
Wipes it with yellow silken ribbon
for you to suck afresh
that you may find your
Godly seed within
My love like dragonflies and bees
silently landing on stamen or pistils
alchemising nectar into patterned
dust upon transparent wings
Earth rewards my love with morning glory
steel severs sunflower stems
silkworms crawl into a wet rose centre
pollen stolen in sparkling dew
My steely silken love refreshed
from your flowered stickiness
Sliced and fresh
Watermelon
Put in the fridge.
big juicy melon
mouth watering delicacy
summer's best kept secret
Gallagher, likewise in the front row. Green
melon astringent holds bodily form. Flesh
seems harmless lying on the butcher’s table.
Rank and file juiced up for the battle. “Wizard-
of-Odd” holds high, like Thor, his “Sledge-O-Matic.”
With its green skin
Round shape, tender juicy flesh
Called watermelon.
Sharing watermelon is a delightful thing to do.
Loving the sweet cold pinks and the sticky goo.
Two can share, or even three or four.
When we cut a melon, we seem to have more and more.
Little slices of the most lush and red watermelon,
Swollen with juiciness and a natural multivitamin.
Deliciously filled with glistening liquid in green rind.
"Treeing", "treeing,"cheerful sound of a bicycle bell;
stuck well inside my ear like a hard binding gel;
Peeping from the window, I knew him very well;
The boy lived at next door took me out of my cell.
Creeping from window, I rode down the green meadow;
The maiden dew drops shone as, young stars brightly glow;
Painted tyre, like watermelon,circled with the flow;
Feathery I felt with the morning cool breeze blow.
Lonely as a planet I lived between four walls;
Oh boy! I met my child hood there with so much falls;
whistling to the playful tunes heard as lovely calls;
"Oh! Wow ! You are out of your groove,bouncing as balls".
I pleaded her, "well, could you be this child again"?
"Let's ride to future with this new happiness gain";
Vanished, she in a flash, and hid inside my brain;
Yet the smile on my lips, never went down the drain.

I've missed the last train home
With the bread
they're looking for.
As I was on the watermelon ride.
