Oak tree limb gave me the nod today
When the winds get strong, we may have to pay
Tree is solid, not made of clay
That warning should be heeded said my brother Clay

January 13 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 38-40
Key Verse– Genesis 38:10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WARNS US AGAINST DISPLEASING HIM
Praise be to God for warning us about displeasing Him that:
Displays wickedness
Defies worship-worth
Deserves wrath
Drives away wisdom-wellness
Demands woes
Declares weakness
Denies winning
Destroys wealth
Damages watchfulness
Deters work-ways
Genesis 39:3, 23 Praise be to the Lord for making us prosper as we:
Labour with His grace
Lean on His greatness
Learn from His governance
Lead through His guidance
Love by His goodness
Live for His glory
Genesis 40:8 Praise be to the Almighty with His interpretations that belong to Him, the:

Smiling made her tired
I feared a frown was all
she could spare.
More than same than
different
what would
cause a person
to ask
Might she labor to
have discussion
one might think
she was making
him feel specials.
Yet to warn those
who didn't know her well
those who knew
her first would warn
When she makes you feel as if
you are number one
her first chose
or someone specail
she will crush your thoughts
she'll darken the brightest
day with her
meanest
and make the prettiest
flower coil.
her grin could turn milk into
clavor, curds and whey
she could sour a bag of
sugar
a glare turns to an
evil stear
you'll turn your head as a looker
when she grins run away
spare your feeling man
she is mean and uncaring
only a fool would like her kind

Creation perfectly wrought
designed by God* for mankind
precious gift to tend
with responsible stewardship…
such was magnificent in the beginning
a paradise of wonders.
Paradise
indeed, yet corrupted
as inhabitants
keep on maligning
her elegance of grace-filled beauty ---
now … Mother Earth grievously languishes.
Mother Earth
oh, verily afflicted with men’s exploits
while technology soars
toward progress’ crest
leaving her virgin forests ravaged
against original stature: Nature at its best.
Nature
sighing in desperate disgust
at civilization’s arrogance
along mocking skeptical mirth
never stops to give stern warning
tolerating not abuse to planet, once verily functional.
Planet
offering life
brings earnest admonition
inflicting guilt…to heed, hopeful
we do so, lest in despair
wail for wasted creation.
*Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
