Premium MemberMarina Green, San Francisco

Ah, my Marina Queen!
You, who reigns over the Marina with grass
so tantalizing, so verdantly green.
Holding costly homes that gaze over the
San Francisco Bay,

I adored the music of fog horns, and
could listen to them hight and day.
We all blessed by a mystical, silent drops of fog!
Embracing the Marina and we, your most serene
residents ......all night long!

No tourists on the huge lawns, run!
They. unknowingly believe Pier 39 and souvenirs
are far more fun?
San Franciscans know the city far better than a
sleazy tourist attraction.

They love the unknown jazz and coffee haunts.
Smiling at one another in delightful satisfaction.
The overpowering scent of Eucalyptus trees,
The Japanese tea garden.
Souls that are totally free!

Premium MemberThe White Trellis

There in my garden on a white trellis
verdantly climbs a honeysuckle vine,
blossoms vivacious now are quite zealous,
beguiling flora will hummingbirds find.

Verdantly climbs a honeysuckle vine
up the white trellis that's steady and sure,
beguiling flora will hummingbirds find,
tangerine flowers with nectar allure.

Up the white trellis that's steady and sure
sweet petals curl back in flirtatious drapes,
tangerine flowers with nectar allure
fragrant and flaunting their tubular shapes.

Sweet petals curl back in flirtatious drapes,
blossoms vivacious now are quite zealous,
fragrant and flaunting their tubular shapes
there in my garden on a white trellis.

Premium MemberWhat the Eye Sees the Heart Cannot Forget

Boys on bicycles

stop for a rest in the woods.

Friendship is growing.

The sun of their childhood streams

through trees verdantly glowing.

Novel Traverses

She came in, alright
In the still void of the night;
A stillness only raped by the resonance of her loosely fluttering nightie
Mercilessly thrashed by the whistling wind; wintry as it wafts on lightly,
Transmuting the skin sallow
Yet, she came in …Poised, but fallow;
Graceful but uncultivated, like two contrasting auras
Forged into that one chief essence that wriggles the finest floras
Into a verdantly scented existence;
That which enriches mankind’s olfactory empiricism. Hence,
Has my soul been charmed, and shall be spoiled for days.
An anomaly, not for my regal ways-

An imperial blood craving eternal confluence with turbid waters;
I’m a Prince in love with one of the peasant farmer’s daughters.

An unfitting art crafted by Gaea…
But like my soul itched for, she came in…
Elegantly writhing her way to share with me under my bedding
And we danced the night away, aired with Sayer.

Premium MemberNot a Real Vacation

Not a true vacation just an afternoon away from home and have lunch out of town. All along the wayside the lushness of summer spread out verdantly on each side of the road. Tall pines and mixed hardwood interrupted only by country roads and powerlines. An occasional home or a little community with neat yards looking well watered.

thick cumulus clouds
cover the summer's blue sky..
deceptive cover

No rain on the way down just a warm summer afternoon spent enjoying seeing nature.
Arriving at the restaurant chosen to eat a meal. Newly remodeled seafood place. Freshly painted, new flooring and decorations. Extremely nice people working in comfortable surroundings. Food ordered while waiting drinks served with hushpuppies quite greasy.
Then a fresh garden salad which looked and tasted good to go with the cool glass of Sprite..

broiled fish arrive with
overpowering odor...
non-deceptive

I am sure that not all of these restaurants are that bad..The picture is not of the one at which we ate.

Anew

The dawn has chased
the fogs away,
it thinned into the woods;
A meadow is revealed-
like Eden-
verdantly endowed...

A young bud tilts
to part its petals',
pure, untainted white;
bathe in a glow
of dew and hue
of morning's golden light
