Untruth Poems

Premium MemberFlies and Lies

When you see so many flies
Be careful, there is a carrion
Somewhere. Behave like a lion
Run, run. The flies are all over your thighs
They can surely and slowly devour you.
An environment, which is full of lies
Will eventually crumble too.
Lies cannot fly
Through the clouds, in the sky.
When you witness so many flies
Somebody may be telling a lot of lies.
When it is too good to be true
Something is not right and untrue.
Don't believe everything you hear
A carcass may be hidden under the soil here.

The Untruth Of A Lone And Erroneous Prophecy

What has a prophetic death done to this poor soul
the merest thought of sleeping under freshen sod
stir the urgent flames, hefting in more Irish coal
is it true Fate will soon strike me with angry rod?
Shall the sky its higher heavens thus so soon part
or maybe earth will hear, spit open a new grave
My dearest angel, fear not, still thy fearful heart
Faith and Truth will issue edits to my heart save!
Hold certainty, my life is to ever flow on
And honey-cast dawn wake to me love ever-more
Yes, you shall sing in your sweeter romantic tone
As we in our bliss dine on paradise's gold shores.

There is no dark that can easily take my life.
Fate cries out, you will be my ever-faithful wife.

Robert J. Lindley, dark sonnet
Jul 1 27th, 1977

Note. True story, a woman predicted my early demise when I was just 23 years old.
Hmm. I am 69 years old now, somebody missed by a few years.

Premium MemberDangers of Delusion

Sadly, we may suffer a delusion
Understanding not the thing we conceive,
While functioning under the illusion
Everything is truly as we believe.
Perceptive minds do not always perceive
That often-told lies are still lies, indeed,
Truth is always borne on factual need
Easily recognized as veritas --
Virtuous, of good character, good seed
Free of falsity and meaningless dross.

True Lies Quotes

The best actor
does not lie ... just does not
        tell the truth...

         Just lies well, who
         well believes the lie ...

         Lying without conviction.
it's almost telling the truth ...

         Tell the truth without certainty,
it's almost assurance of being a liar ...

        When on earth the lie
is allowed ... to speak the truth
        it's almost a revolution ... it's almost
        sacrilege...

Same as courage, truth does belong
        for the weak and false...!

Premium MemberI Am Fake

I am a fake so many times a day,

It is crazy

Pretending to care when I don’t.
Pretending things are okay, when they are not.

Sometimes I pull myself into my pajamas and crawl into my bed with the
fluffy comforters, three or four seconds after I come home from work.

Knowing I can be real only in my dreams.

Premium MemberTruth Matters

It all mattered so much it hurt,
It mattered for his little show,
It mattered so much for his performance,
That truth was the first thing to go,

The truth of the small things that weren’t very big,
The truth that was easy to change,
To make his performance notably better,
To make us all watch him on stage,

But what didn’t matter, mattered to us,
All the small lies that were spread,
Became a warning about this little man,
We just didn’t trust what he said,

Till now, it seems, he’s alone in his life,
His friends have got on with their lives,
And he has been left wanting attention,
Not seeing that we see his lies.

They Are Telling the Untruth

Every Night You Come Home Smelling
Like her tenderness, when i ask i become the
Guilty and you the innocent "okay am sorry
Let's drop" and with a cheeky smile you head to our room .

Ancestral ghosts appear to me every night
"he is lying"they assert , i hear them but i
Do not listen .nay i know they are telling the
Untruth, they were not there when you asked me out.

This feels unreal i do not believe the newspaper
That they are selling me , i won't even think of
Buying it , but the cover page seems so real
The front page is made of a hardest hardcover

But still i won't buy it , i don't have time for such.
Even the wind has the tendency of lying to me
These days,No! ! I can't take this anymore love
Tell them yourself to stop since my voice is thin

All of you stop lying. The ways of the untruths
Is not right stop or you will kill someone,
You weren't there when we first met
You do not know us

There must be a good Justification for the
 tenderness smell of her
But unloyalty is not one of that i trust him
My doubts level can never reach my love and trust
Level so once again shut up

Untruth

You told me that you love me,
And I felt that it was real.
You told me that you love me,
And I say I love you but I lied...
