I Am Fake

I am a fake so many times a day,

It is crazy

Pretending to care when I don’t.
Pretending things are okay, when they are not.

Sometimes I pull myself into my pajamas and crawl into my bed with the
fluffy comforters, three or four seconds after I come home from work.

Knowing I can be real only in my dreams.

Caren, Sounds like the genuine article to me. Signed, The Great Pretender (pretending that I'm doing well). -Richard

Thank you my friend. I am sitting here in my zipped up Zebra fuzzy one-piece pajamas, not wearing the hood, but of course, there is a tail. My grandchildren always laugh when they see this pajama outfit on me, which surprises me as I have had it for ten years or so.

I would imagine that working with little kids all day long is exhausting; not being able to be one's real self around them would take it's toll. This was a good one; sleep and dream on...

aka politeness... it's a curse and such a weight on our shoulders. All - I mean MOST - women will understand this. Priceless penning, Caren.
