Deep Sea Sky Blue

"Deep Sea Sky Blue"

the contented life
rises and falls
bedded

the treasure chest
is touched briefly
inside a shell opens
constricted mind
of heart swallows
the bends,
it is found
wanting, so
releases
the fast,
changeling
embryo soul,
le enfant terrible
feeling the rips
like selkie
walls of skin
cool and warm
currents sucking
dark and light
kicking out
the within,

a transparent
circle rises
still life
perpetually
repeating
on carnate
incarnates
unstill

the unseen
surfaces
and surveys
the contented life
how it
rises and falls
bedded in shades
and shadows
of gently rising
and plunging
azure

outside
from within

deep sea
sky blue

Nature's Treat

When the day prowls with fear
And dark, little less in pair,
The eyes, a shuttle for tears,
The heart, beating in pierce,
In nature's treat, I sought repel.
A subtle rythm of an unstill pour
Flapping fins ushed to its shore
Birds, singing to the twitching twigs' haw
'cucko ducko' brazing the breeze,
Coating the heart with its kindful bliss.
There and there, my lots are pricked
Till I am back to my four-wall's thick
Where the stars tickle the bars,
To mother nature, I owe this verse.

These Arms a Lighthouse

When the brief sounds of barking dogs fade

and the loud voices of children echo away

When winds stop shaking apple trees

and leaves settle in the lake

When the sweat of a tangerine sun

sets across shallow waters ,and songbirds flutter far

It is then , when the soft touch of silence falls upon my bed

It is there ,when my thoughts and I lay wide awake . Unstill !

It is then , when I travel places up the rocky hill

My thoughts tread like jasmines once blown on the sand

My eyes seek in distance for a seaman 's return.

Another dawn breaks without vessels and sails

Another night follows without his embrace

Anothet year passes on the edge of the land

These arms still a lighthouse , with a flickering lamp.

When You Are Washed

Moons talk,
Tarts believe in pride,
But all falls; starts the lonely walk!
All to test the banks' tide.

When you're washed, yet, unstill
Like pride of Barbados,
Rippled by feet of unending March,
Hope lingers for its shoot, off the soil.

The weed today, a flower, in moons time,
The abandoned konga, the beats-
Of a runaway-mad child
To the wise, anger heals.........
When you're washed!

Crossroad Heart

Tis' tender heart
Crossroad betwixt
Each soul and body

And conscience thus
The traveler
Upon the road of live's journey

The forks in left or right
Veering off
Becomes the way of progression learning

Sun sets up ahead
Moon each day behind
And the world unstill, is forever spinning

As all are born and some again
The young grow quick
And in old live, unto our dying

Tis' tender heart
Crossroad betwixt
The Lord and my human being
