People talk seriously about money
Some people gamble money
Some people collect money
From all over the world easy
Russia, China something like
19 countries are making money
Out of a "Brics" of good gold things
They trade money more valuable
An independence out of fiat money
Isolating the US Dollar currency
Out in the picture, no more scene
The world is no more Unipolar but Bipolar
Many promising nation are emerging
Into the open, ready to be discovered
Has guts, ready to mingle and wise peers
New power is blossoming and wise friendly
Exploitation is transient and understandable
Cooperation is a must and balance business
Money is by petrol, gold or services
Exchange rate is amicable settlement
Not by who is more powerful but by respect
Respect of whose beneficial is to both parties
This is what good negotiation is attainable
This is what good consensus has to do with peace
This is all about what good is for each country
Money is good when it is done with good intentions.

The opposite view
Unipolar power is like being the bride
and resent the uppity of bridesmaids
she wanted her wedding to be remembered
no one can equal
Her democracy is the bride that has
become domineering and not let in
the bridesmaid
Not even getting married if she thought her
the rule was somewhat diminished
Her attitude causes friction; others wanted
to leave to go find their own happiness
This includes Miss Russia who was
a downtrodden maid, much patronized, made
the fun of and dismissed.
Surprised, we were when out of the shadows
grew and demanded an equal place on the in
the beauty contest, where women in cowboy
hat ruled
but the domineering woman had to grow and
the woman in the cowboy hat
knew Miss Russia had to be subdued rapidly
and set out to ruin her reputation to preserve
her hegemon, she said, was a gift from God
the white deity who loves Miss America
The people at the wedding
a subdued, Miss Russia would be allowed
to exit as a junior partner if she helped to catch
miss China, whose beauty was fabulous
not seen for two thousand years
The woman in the cowboy hat could once more
be the belle of the ball

The therapy
Once I drove from the south to the North of Portugal
with a sojourn into Spain, long enough to see how
different the two countries are made me anti-unipolar.
I was driving around before the creation of motorways
and mobile phones made driving into a dull discourse.
A puncture in the middle of nowhere caused a problem
I had a puncture but was saved by a man on his tractor
saved me from utter failure.
I had the dog with me on the journey dogs are patient
don’t fiddle with the radio and want to stop for coffee
nor do they suggest another, better route to take.
A dog waits till you stop at a nice place, woods for it to
run around smelling things, and back in the car they sleep.
Villages made of the landscape hewn from stones
and forgotten are strewn around some on top of a hill.
Others are deep in a valley; flowers by every door make
houses look prettier.
The villages also have in common a café/bar/shop were
a traveller can get a beer, a bit to eat and rooms to let
if not officially (tax) best of all, people like you.
After a week of driving around overcoming a failed love
an affair, cured, and the dog and I went home.

Dark Forces
There is a sense of ennui the déjà vu after a feast
life is not what we thought it was, the banner of battle
no longer flies on top of the town hall.
The hero is not a hero but a figure fluctuating in the wind
and ruled by outside forces where he is only the visible
to fool the world into a shared vision of bravery.
There are so many other problems the scourge of pest
the sizzling heat burning human skin crisp
and rain that kills and sea that floods the landscape.
The undertone is getting louder; we have been lied to
dark forces seek a unipolar world, malleable people
into enslavement, where words are no longer truthful
but lies are endlessly repeated until lies are the truth.
It is late in the day, but there is a rumble of a fightback
the freedom of the individual precariously wilts like
grains of life die if not rescued by the rain of revolt.

Home invasion
IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant
Is invading your home
Wherever you go homes look the same
all in pine and is a blend of office
and living room
A mother has put her daughter to bed
she sits by a computer and works
(No men in the IKEA world)
No books clutter the space, bookshelves
are for ornamental use a place for toys.
on the wall some friendly print
purposely abstract and tedious
There is no individual taste in a picture
of hygge, a unipolar world, will we drive
a Tesla next?

Focused on burgundy palms
as the age blinks,
you start distressing on a unipolar
pinnacle, biting the nails.
The road absorbs the horizon.
Perched on a controversial tree
the birds break into small events
to reach the grass roots. A transparent question
always chases you about the consequence
of a war with troubled priests.
Do we need nitrous oxide to offset the gloom
of hovering religion ? One enchanted
crowd spills in copycats to bring about
a revolution in ranks who were busy
in translating the epics of past.
