Your hand
As so inclined
Am I to show that love refined
Itself to friendship
Yet in that lowly
Friendly act
There still remains the simple fact
As lips touch skin
Respectful blessing
Is released
And worried brow becomes uncreased
For lips they linger..
Just a while..
To transfer more than just a smile
They wish to walk the extra mile
From wrist
To forearm
Where friends desist
And love walks slowly from the mist
And yet..
This happens
In the mind
Forgive the drift from 'love refined'..
As thought constrained
And locked away
In hopeful future such love remains
A warmth, cold daytime life detains
In daydreams

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

This page is only lightly speckled
With a pen nib’s
Tap tap tap
Give.Me.Something
And this skin is only quietly freckled
With six summer weeks
Of something not quite white
One spiked lemonade
And two white jean knees
Painted green
And poured over this skin
Is cool cotton
White, uncreased
And very nearly new

If I was to say to you
your're stronger than you know
it comes from deep within you
and it rises like a glow
the strength we have inside us
will take us all the way
I wish that I could bottle it
I'd sell it on Ebay
everyone has buckets full
it's knowing how reach
only time can fetch it out
it's something I can't teach
have faith in your own body
and how it overcomes
the pain and grief inside us
the type that always numbs
your inner strength is begging
just to be released
allow the time to heal you
your face becomes uncreased
the pain subsides like passing
clouds, the hurt does start to heal
believe this makes you stronger
and soon better you will feel
