Nearly New
This page is only lightly speckled
With a pen nib’s
Tap tap tap
Give.Me.Something
And this skin is only quietly freckled
With six summer weeks
Of something not quite white
One spiked lemonade
And two white jean knees
Painted green
And poured over this skin
Is cool cotton
White, uncreased
And very nearly new
