It grew heavier and heavier as she traveled
to and fro so one sunny day, she  let them all go...

Clicking latch
of the evening door
boot tracks through
fallen feathers,
crows adorn the eaves
little ebon stomachs
growling.
“I don’t have any seeds
on me right now”
Bird’s beady eyes
cut through camouflage–
now crows adorn 
my shoulders
pecking at my ears,
my eyes, my heavy heart.

UNBURDENED

One of the most persistent problems we seem to have
Are anxiety and stress, disquieting apprehension & fear
God commands us be strong, courageous, valiantly brave
Scripture exhorts not to be anxious—do we listen or hear?

Why is He concerned with this apprehension and burden?
It cripples us from God and enjoying His huge Omnipresence
His primary concern is expressing Himself

The old man sighed
Sitting on a rock next to a pond
Crookedly balancing Yin and Yang between his eyelashes
Conversing with the Lady of the pond
Jade eyes and un-wrinkled time
In Her beautiful face
Held in his hands
An old fishing rod

Bamboo
Bends and flexes with the times
It holds and catches even the biggest
Devils in the water 

The lotus flowers embrace
