I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers
teach us at odd moments, when they aren’t trying to teach us.
We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.

Umberto Eco, Foucoult’s Pendulum

LIFE

Living on road, once a week.
Inhabiting Dad’s kitchen.
Food for two with leftovers.
Every subject chewed o’er

The futurist artist Umberto Boccioni

wll see find people to make script against her
unloved brother
that she might get his checks
stay tuned sports fans
the family will not follow the teaching of tolinfar
they will see that he is unloved and despised
they will not let the rules of marriage cause him to marry

Pillar and Umberto Strings and Bass Concerto B Major

they labeled him as such
and taught him to
do what had been done.
then they made him responsible for
what was done
without feeling sorry for
creating the character
that acted out what had happened.
spoke Pillar of her Son.
which has been done will never
be undone.
they casted the script and created the concern
found audience
and made such things so.
they stand together and speak
each result.she spoke of one woman saying,
might this be a lesson for those
who believe in togetherness and love.
might they see then, that those
who are together might be bounded
by wickness, so that there ways are covered up
(interupting) Umberto stand s to speak...
umberto).....sample the need for reality, that those who are greedy might
dine. than those who are less fortunate might have the crumbs of those
who could afford. demeaning those who's efforts spoke for their own concerns, lacking the passion for those who labor.

Umberto Romeo: a Dedication

At home in the country his best lessons were taught.
From planting the olive tree to pressing the oil;
His love was delicate and pure like a virgin olive oil drizzled over home made bread.
The beauty you woke to each morning was a direct reflection of himself.
His love for the country side was the same love he had for you.
Remember those November days the closiness you felt with him.
How proud he was in those moments.
He may be gone now but with each olive that grows
Remember those times together and share those memories with your children.
Creating a perfect oil takes great care and love.
That is and always will be what he pours into you each and every day.

Roald Amundsen (1872-1928)

Erster am Südpol
Geheimer Wettlauf mit Scott
Im ewigen Eis

Auf Rettungsflug für Nobile
Verschollen im Eismeer

----------------------------------------

First at the South Pole
In a secret race with Scott
In the eternal ice

On a rescue flight for Nobile
Missing over the Arctic Ocean

----------------------------------------

Primero en el Polo Sur
En carrera secreto con Scott
En los hielos eternos

En vuelo savamento a Nobile
Desaparecido sobre el océano Ártico

Note: Roald Amundsen (1872 – 1928), a Norwegian explorer of polar regions led the first
Antarctic expedition to reach the South Pole (1910-1912). He was the first person to reach
both poles. Me was reported missingin at plane crash during a rescue mission for Umberto
Nobile in 1928 northwest of Bear Island in teh Arctic Ocean. Umberto Nobile (1885 – 1978)
was an Italian airship pioneer and general. He was injured when he crashed and rescued by
a Swedish pilot. Mussolini degraded him and Nobile emigrated first to the Sovjet Union,
later to the USA and to Spain. In 1945 he was rehabilitated and returned to Italy.
