The Poetic Arts

Terminology:

Crystal booths in a nocturnal snow.
significant downpours of shedding stars.

This said, feel free to scatter, scrabble or mash.
Words are fungible,
many still believe that poetics
do indeed belong to the fungi family,
though some have been classified
as many-limbed Triffids
of the squishy kind.

Now throw moondust at the reader's eyes:

Obscurity is essential, however, first create a window
that opens to reflect the thrower.
Rain down upon the moondust until mud takes shape.
There are no words for this process,
so, make some up.

Flourish:

Without a final flourish the poet is left with a turgid puddle
avoid turgidity at all costs, especially puddles.
Sprays of celebratory tinsel
or globs of gore are always effective.
Reaching for the stars with a palsied hand
will jerk tears out of a slab of concrete
eventually.

Swiftly leave the space you are now occupying,
other's will be impatiently waiting to craft their next masterpiece.

Fever Ward

Not a room for the waiting
or the receiving of the waiting,
but a room for a liquid thinking
a turgidity
that trickles through plastic tubes.

Is this where doors remain jammed
forever between Hospital floors?

Unseen, a wall clock drops
heavy packages of time
into narrow chutes,
latex handprints are shaken
from sterilized surfaces.
The regularity
of beep and whir mechanically
sucks light in and out.

The yoke recalls it shell.
Desiccated fingers
squeeze a phantom pain-ball,
morphine as cold as ice
is delivered
to an unknown address.

A swish of a starched presence,
fingertips retrace
scorched fever-lines.
Eyes creep toward the voice.

Consciousness
scratches a self-portrait
upon a white neon sun,
a hesitant, primitive etching.

A nurse adjusts the electronic pulse
of a free-floating mind.
Space expands under her hands.

Premium MemberSerendipity's Scrutiny

putridity rhymes with acridity
  for the same reason that
tumidity rhymes with turgidity

and tepidity is to vapidity
  as solidity is to rigidity
'course, all this has no validity
~ 'til they check my lucidity

No Worries For Tomorrow

To the flowers that never get hold of turgidity
Even with the morning dew
Its faded petals once enjoyed a bright youth
It lived, while it had to and forgot of the later rains
Hurry! To the single moms, formerly “slay queens”
They spent their all to the seductive Swag hood, Fools
Get old to get wiser, sorry for the principle,
You are not to blame

To the future we will never participate
I cry for your fate, we never thought you were real
We robbed your generation, and created a chasm between
We were living our destiny so we stand corrected
Quixotically we planned your present,
So long as it filled the pocket of the absurd torch bearers
Its sustainability didn’t matter, not to them
We are sorry that you will still be submissive to neocolonialism
Get old to get wiser, I guess there are exceptions

Books a Resource Part Iii

Books are for imprudent tonicity
Imprudent – not understand totality
Of books – suffer of turgidity:
The poet are blessed of tranquility
Of books as they work in torridity
Where books are the only security.
They take away our minority.
If you believe in their agility
You will experience seniority.
Have faith in their mobility.
Irresponsible insult reality -
Reality is book’s relativity
In our life and its polarity:
Joining two poles – absurdity
With intelligence and precocity.
Hence friends! Value the ministry
Who control the Money’s orogeny.

Flu To Flu

My wife had caesarean birth
In the maternity full of dusts
And brought forth a bouncing baby
But the baby was a pouncing flu

Tears roll twilight to twilight
The doctor tests the urine and stool
The herbalist prescribes bitter herbs
But the baby is still a pouncing flu

One can see the eyes yellow
And the body losing turgidity
The tongue turning like sour milk
And all I am told is to be patient

My baby bounces with running nose
But maid minds only baby’s milk
And mother of the baby slumbers
Saying “the baby can survive flu to flu”
