Premium MemberOutcast

Why does one feel outcast?
Why base self-worth on the opinion of others?
A great and tragic lapse in ego,
irrational thought, and weak superego.
An outcast allows themself to be victim,
being subjugated by their perceived “tormenters”.

A compliment that I have not succumbed
to the societal norms of hatred, envy, jealousy,
disdain, racism, and exclusion.
My mind is my own and I follow my gut that tells me right from wrong.
I will not comply to be liked, included, loved, or admired.

So call me outcast, I wear it as a badge of valor and courage.

I Want To Be Happy'

Another sleepless night on the streets

I think I'm going insane

With all

these voices

Inside my head

Telling me stories

Mostly threat...

Addiction isn't my friend

All
it has done is cause me pain

Thus

Bringing forth more friends

But

These things

Are evil

Tormenters of the mind

In search of the soul

They attack
and
wear down the psyche

A familiar practice in hell

Where love is preyed upon

And
happiness is a smile

As
he with the dead eyes tortures another soul endlessly

All I hear is screaming

Coming from such a nasty little thing

A bad spirit that's trying

Me....

It's voice so vile

I've killed many

Devils and demons were the worst

Killers of a child

And

Yet .... I still struggle with.

A product of the choices I've made in life

Drugs and gluttony calling my name

Deadly sin was bad

But

Sadness is the same.

Addiction is the voice inside my head.

It won't get my soul

So it says it'll settle for my death ...

I said.... I have time.

Open your eyes
and
See that a kingdom come is without crystal meth.

The Love in me.

It's Time.

I Have Seen

HAVE SEEN
I have seen mentors become tormenters
I have seen Shepherds lead there flocks
To the gates of hell like Berizebu
I have seen Fathers turn against their daughters

Beyond forested mountains and valleys
I have seen pretenders shade blood
Of their fellow human like lions on their prey
I have seen the right path swallow the passers by as the fish swallows it's bait

l have seen people live like paupers on their
Own land
I have seen equality kick the bucket on the
land that used to be joyous
l have seen famished men craw for survival on the city streets.

On the other side of the river banks,
I have seen animals treat their fellow as human
I have seen the glory of the mighty upon his land
I have seen the scenic beauty of the land where birds sing and dance for the humourous fresh feeds

                                            TROPHY DEREK

Premium MemberTormentors Rumor Mongers and Instigators

The tormenters tried to bully me.
 I danced away, acting delighted.
This seemed to irritate them
But they teased others.

The rumor-mongers tried to guilt me.
I tossed their guilt into a burn pile
And lit it on fire after pouring on lighter fluid.
Their mouths flew open and down.

The instigators tried to make me feel badly about my past.
I took my own skeletons out and began to dance with them.
Part of my skeletons ran them down, attempting to dance with them.
It was the best time ever. I would not hesitate to do it again tomorrow.

Premium MemberWorld Tried To Break Me

they gave it more than a passable go
but my confidence and self-preservation are powerful allies
bullying did not dent
name-calling did not crucify
Flexibility and tenacity are my middle names
I fly into the rafters and caw at my tormenters
Who are vastly disappointed
they could not break me.

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings nostalgic melodies of the jungle
Where she flew along , on the wings of the dawn without the restrictions of her cage
A beautiful place designed for her, a wage

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings of society’s miseries and her forlorn hopes torn by them, her captors
Her ills are not preached by her own pastors

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings a warning hymn to her siblings
Those abused by the makers of the laws
To prevent their kids from the fangs that comes out of society’s jaws

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings of the one who stole her dignity
And kept it as a sign of his masculinity
A fate unearned, a prize for her virginity

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings a dirge for her dead soul
Her body , empty like abandoned halls
Her blood a graffiti, imprinted on the walls

I know why the cage bird sings
She sings to us her writers , who are society’s broadcasters
To send a new message to her tormenters

Premium MemberYou May Eat With Me

The queen of the monarchs had yet to land
Her subjects, waiting, for her royal command
They dare not take a nibble, a sigh or a drink.
She made the first move, so they pondered a think.

One little monarch almost made a swift move.
But her elder nudged her, and she lost all her groove.
She did not understand that royalty always goes first.
Her day which started badly simply got worse.

Butterfly brigade gave her the cold wing treatment now.
They ignored her pointedly, and called her names like old sow.
She felt horrible, until the queen called her to her side.
You may eat with me, she told her, let the tormenters hide.

The other butterflies were ashamed for they knew better.
They flew around like crazy, and flittered with fetter.
They soon apologized and said they would never be mean.
And the little monarch was invited to go live with the queen.

The Risen Lord

The day was dark and gloomy, here he come via the Delarosa
The burden of the cross too heavy to bear as blood trickled down his face
The crowd cried out in agony as they saw their Savior lose stability
The sound of anguish filled the air, while his tormentors begin to cheer

The lashes get louder; harder, more intense as he carried his cross to the end
Anguish with pain, they hammered the nails through his hands and feet one by one
Overcome with grief he cried out in pain, Father why have you forsaken me

The women wept, his brethrens fall on their knees overcome by what they see
Suddenly the heaven shook, the earth moved and his tormenters
began to flee as God open heaven’s portal to raise his son to victory
There he cried out "Father it is finished my work here on earth is done.”

His mother wept, but his brethren remember the third day is coming
When the angels would roll the stone away, and our Lord would appear.

Barbed Wire

It cut, I bled
It spoke, I listened
It commanded, I obeyed
It laughed, I wept

Dirty things were done to me
All painful and all true
My body became a battlefield
My mind split into more than a few

Meanness, nastiness, anger and rage
Toppled me over, time and time again
Weapons formed, used against me
Oh my mind so torn, lured me to the insane

Taken for granted, used and tossed aside
What was wrong with me?
Quiet, stilled from the pain
Screaming, yelling on the inside

Years the disease roamed within
Took me for a ride, round and round
Let me out, take me off
Remove these chains keeping me bound

Stars shine, moon glows
Father’s hand has touched my soul
Standing near, watching close
Fills my heart with His heavenly host

Raising me up, renewing my mind
Releasing the spirits, tormenters no more
Casting them down in a pit of fire
No more cutting, no more barbed wire

Keeping Your Head Held High

Upon you there will be, and upon others, you will see,
the heart being tornmented until all pain carried, comes heavily.
Wondering then if there is strength left to rise above, all the reverie,
cause by the tormenters, whom enjoy, causing people's insanity.

Them going about smiling with laughter, their fingers, at you, laying,
not even concerned about the horror, and the pain, on you, staying.
When confronted, with what they did, they then go to you, saying,
"don't you know, we didn't mean what we said, and we were, only playing."

When in doubt, while this you confront, make sure to your knowledge, you then rely,
knowing people go about hurting others, of which, have a journey, they can't deny.
Stick up for yourself, and don't fear pulling out the thorns, onto you they, then apply,
not accepting not one bit of their point of view, by always, keeping your head held high.

Dragon Minds....

This other realm of conscious thought
emotions wrought with twisted knots
psychic battles with invisible enemies
those lying tormenters of my sleep

Sword of truth is drawn to find
wings of hope...my dragon mind
we soar to heights in battle free
to ward off evils,evil spree

Horizons edge they form to gather
the portals of our mind they enter
wreaking havoc...purpose extinguish
fire of soul in mankinds weakness

Knights of honor do what we must
in reverence of our sacred trust
slam the doors on evils hate
preventing entry of heavens gate.....
