Tongue Twister Time

Tongue Twister: Porcupine Pete parted paths with prude Prissy, pineapple paramour.

Passion possessed Porcupine Pete
Up in the pineapple patch
Because with vision myopic,
From afar, he suspected
That pretty porcupine Peggy
Pined for a tined paramour.
Thus, in a sharp, prurient rush
(Oh, how his prickles perked up)
Pete failed to perceive it wasn’t
Porcupine Peggy he poked.

When the tryst had played out
Pete discerned he’d pricked Prissy,
Pineapple prickly and prudish,
Who sternly refused to elope.
Thus Prissy’s path with Pete’s parted,
Spurned porcupine unwitting
That Prissy a pin cushion birthed.
Then that poor single mother,
Toiling hard as a pineapple,
Was pushed to life on the Dole.

Mind

Whirls and swirls
Drooling out a chime
Playing along the tined walls of my mind
Eyes in a twist brain in a knot
What I memorize is not what they recall
Think one can know me?
Look once more into my mind
Locks and docks
Stones and untamed bridges
knocking doors and screaming windows
All shatter once they are able
Everything goes without a second thought
In this darken blue mass of an object lost
Clouding storm circle like waiting sharks
My mind, my thoughts, my heart all go with no beat and no flow to follow

Wrong But Sure

The heart runs, lips quib, words just die
When just a mile away he signals hi.
Such, none but he has made you feel.
The undated dream of how love should be.

The legs are pulled like to a magnet. The
Heart 's scared which chases the body to impress;
Hints studied, skin tined, steps aligned, smiles learned
In a bid no step 's missed to make unfit.

The pull becomes so strong that fear gives way.
But in time the heart frowns in shy dismay.
The heart can be wrong even when its so sure.
True love gets clearer when hearts grows closer.

Caring

If caring were the bounties truth
then all the effort I could use
and too, the pain that sees me through
of this known struggle's strained aloof
from my demeanor, is it proof?

Oh Caring, is my heart behind
while my hands pace another line,
is it the poem, or the define
so caring is betwixt consign
and thereby gives me broached consign!

So tempered with its hardness foil,
I rise and fall, do lose my mind
and of contempt, am muddied soil,
Oh caring's thrust, what foolish bind
does wile away my nature's kind!

What matters lest, what else to find,
the goal "injustice" treat as mine
the awesome truth so intertwined,
I swallow or reject resigned,
Oh caring, follow up remind!

That I am swearing, roughness tined
to meet contrary . . . not as wined!
