I have researched the issue extensively
and concluded most indubitably
The #1 problem we must confront immediately
is that the NBA is Tibetan-Nepalese free
I realize that this kind of news may just shock
both NBA fanatics and weekend warrior jocks
As there have been social media rumors of a plan
to load up rosters with ex-soldiers from Afghanistan
Well, I for one, will not let myself get distracted
The data's in, my words will not be retracted
At this very moment, President Biden's selecting a 5-star commission
to highlight the egregious wrong of Tibetan-Nepalese inadmission
Our nation has the talent, the drive and the will
to effect change to rock the world from Singapore to Brazil
For the NBA's bias against Tibetan-Nepalese is a vile disease
infecting every team owner privileged to speak Americanese
So, let us look forward to that great day
when NBA game-time rosters will look this way
Fifteen Tibetans versus fifteen from Nepal
~ as long as they sing our National Anthem before they 'play ball!'

Maybe I should have said something but I didn’t.
I thought the ladies there might get upset.
I stared for several moments lost between thought and action
waiting for a sign, but no help was forthcoming.
I thought of Buddhists and worms in the movie:
"Seven Years in Tibet". How Tibetans cannot harm even worms.
Any living creature could have been your Mother in a previous life,
therefore you must show respect to all living creatures.
In the end I said nothing. Did nothing.
I left the daddy long legs spider resting on the metal roller
at the end of the swimming pool where I had discovered him.
I wondered how he had gotten there and what would become of him.
Two days later my wife returned from the pool and casually mentioned
how she and her friend had removed several dead bugs floating on the surface.
One of them, she said, was a daddy long legs spider.
It was a small thing, but sometimes even the smallest things
can make your day feel heavier.

"Political power grows out of the barrel
of a gun" - Mao Zedong.
North Korea has nuclear;
current regime's fear
of falling out is clear.
China, Philippines, Japan,
and Taiwan all claim possession
of South China sea -
China claims it owns the sea
because it has the name China
on it.
Syrian warfare is like venom
of different animals mixed
together in a dark blender;
you can't tell who's ISIS, al-qaeda,
Hizbollah, Iranian agents,
Syrian rebels or Regime Forces.
A North Korean sub is missing in the sea;
no one knows what's next....
Russia and United States have differences
on how Syrian War should be handled.
Myriads of Syrian refugees cry at the gates
of Europe;
like Mary and Joseph in the Inn,
there's a few people letting them in.
Dalai Lama still cries for freedom
for the Tibetans.
Corruption still eats away economies
in African counties and national cakes.
Donald Trump wants an America
with no immigrants-
I think he's saying goodbye
to globalisation.
Boko Haram want to create a Caliphate
empire across West Africa.
Politics, the Grimm Reaper,
is here and listening!

Dinner with old friends:
salmon with red cabbage, asparagus, Caesar's salad, penne with
broccoli, two white wines.
Jane Jacobs could analyze how it all got to our table
or even how their daughter came to us from Cambodia.
The economy or market bringing a thing of beauty, the farms, the trucks,
such comfort. The ancients knew this too
yet we are anxious about famine, genocide and nuclear war.
How can we organize (govern) ourselves to end self-imposed suffering?
That Quebec and Puerto Rico may secede peacefully at any time a
majority chooses is a source of pride. Why not Kurds, Chechyns,
Tibetans and Armenians?
Difficult to write a poem about it. At table, candlelight, we debate
or whine about the other side winning and making a mess
of our lives. The election could be stolen, tampering with voting
machines,
what policy question does that possibility raise? War in Iraq,
school testing, prison population. Religion, the abyss surrounding the
little promontory life.
It'll all work out in the end. Go to your daily practice, be a good citizen.
Another failed effort to write what I mean. Such confusion, yet
two white wines.

Indestructable
drop
Within the
indestructable drop,
quicksilver flow,
deep thought is got,
a burning ember
snatched and seen,
behind the veil that
comes between,
the current flow is
hot,
unconcious mind can
look and see,
subtle waves of
sweet eternity,
that brings forth
thoughts, or not?
The burning ember,
fiery glows,
within the yellow
chakra goes,
it flares is burning
hot,
begone you
blockage, blot!
stop holding up the
flow!
central channel
opens wide,
the Indy. Drop is
now applied,
and flows right to
the top,
quicksilver fills
the slot,
enlightenment
decides?
Don Johnson
Or as the Buddist Tibetans might say,
see a red hot coal today,
see it burn the blockage,
of dis-ease,
till the flow is like the breese,
and when this flow is got,
healthy get yes please,
we don't want all that snotttt,
do it if you please,
just visualize the plot....

My brother, sister
Your life is a butter
lamp,offering.
For our nation and land;
For the freedom and rights.
The moment, burning,
The sparks
Aroused thousands of Tibetans,
The flames
Ignited people's souls
Until last your breathe,
Hopping,
Your death
Can change Chinese rule.
Your pain
Remained the world to help.
You died in fire
But remain alive in the world .
You were killed by torture
But died in glory.

Tibetans,
Burning,
The flames everywhere.
One, two, three.......
Already self-immolated,23.
How many sparks will be?
Hundreds or thousands,
Maybe even more....
Gunfire,
Tibetans shot down,
One after another.
Now
Twelve Tibetans lie down in the blood,
Their bodies wrenched away
Never back.
Caught
To the jail.
An eagle snatching a sparrow.
Never to be seen again
Or seen crippled
Handicapped, an invalid.
Tibetans
In invisible manacles,
Surrounded by a metre wall.
Even for one step, bound.
Tibetans,
Unseen and unheard by
The world.
The pain
Only Tibetans can feel.
The words
Only Tibetans can hear.
The blood
Only Tibetans can see.
Because
It happens underground,
Where the world
Does not look.
