The Poet's Vigil
In the quiet corners of his own mind,
he walks alone,
a poet whose pen drips with moonlight.
He counts the hours by the hum of his thoughts,
each one a lantern swinging in the wind.
A thinker —
he weighs the weight of names,
dreams of the laughter not yet born,
imagines a tiny hand curling around his own.
In solitude,
he builds worlds

LONER
He's a certified loner
Very Independent
Always doing everything
Without anyone support
Without confiding in any
Due to betrayals in the past
Always focusing on personal interests.
A self consultant
Always talking to self
Many label him crazy while bullying
From their own awareness
They're not aware of his pains and shames
He's always consulting himself
No longer trust people with his weaknesses.
Always staying in his

Offended Thinker
If you appear before me with no claim why
Clamoring as much as to catch my eye
Know that you make the offense gross
When I ponder the minutes’ worth of loss
That I would have used on a thought or a stare
On something worth the time and flare
That I would both savor and remember
From January to December

Light Bulb Thinker
Light Bulb Thinker settled down to concentrate on work
Ideas were parading, from his job he did not shirk.
Librarians hushed their clientele, so LBT could think.
Phrases and vocabulary came to him in green, yellow and pink.
Wonder what is happening? Another thinker asked.
Not sure, said the book worm, is he comfy and masked?
Does he have to be?

Be a Thinker Use Your Blinker
You saw me riding my bike
as I came to the cross walk
you were there again
admiring the flowers
in my basket I chimed
my bell as the little man
legs started to move
inside the box flashing
light began blinking
on the street pole
I noticed you again
as I began to cross

A Singular Thinker
A singular thinker misses the blinker missing the link up trying to sync up
drinking the drink up now he’s a dreamer convinced what he dreams up seemingly sees stuff pulling his sleeves up walking with knees up because he can beat us believe we’re beneath his world supersedes us believing his greatness so

Great Thinker
Welcome Ilakunda, forget about paper,
You will wonder, with your slipper,
Drink a millinda, to become supper.
Only coming in, house have shine,
Where to begin? Drinking a whine?
That is a line, time will run.
See your mother, and your father,
What about sister? And your brother?
Your young sister? And young brother?
Hay great thinker! Have you remember?
Your all member? Here

Free Thinker
"So long as we live in the mutiny of archaic order, there will be no lack of dispensation to the sorts of liberty that's lost under it's rule of exploitation, soley designed, to enslave the benefactor of a free-thinking mind."

The Over Thinker
Over thinking is both a blessing and a curse its inspired me to write this verse.
Protecting ones self is a heavy job often leading to disaster and a heartfelt sob
Pulling the barriers down is not easy for the mind the pains of the past never easy to unwind
A child not understood a teenager determined to

The Thinker
The Thinker
These are precarious times we’re living in
That shakes our fancy but bores us to the whim.
When the right hand doesn’t know the other,
And as the left leg steps forward, the right one falters.
And everywhere here and there’s laughing.
But that isn’t all that’s happening.
I thought about it afterwards and felt chagrined.
I knew somebody, somewhere, was

The Thinker
She saw her son out sitting on the swing,
not even swinging, simply doing nothing.
“Whatcha doin’, son? Without blinkin’
he said (like he always did), “Just thinkin’.”
Her son (with cell phone) held a glass of ice.
He had not even turned on the device.
“Whatcha doin’, son?” He just sat clinkin’
his glass of ice and answered her, “just thinkin’.”
She
