In the quiet corners of his own mind,
he walks alone,
a poet whose pen drips with moonlight.
He counts the hours by the hum of his thoughts,
each one a lantern swinging in the wind.
A thinker —
he weighs the weight of names,
dreams of the laughter not yet born,
imagines a tiny hand curling around his own.
In solitude,
he builds worlds of words,
hoping one day a child will wander in,
pick a flower from his sentences,
and plant it in their own heart.
The waiting is a long horizon,
but he watches,
because even a lone soul
knows the fire is not for himself alone.

He's a certified loner
Very Independent
Always doing everything
Without anyone support
Without confiding in any
Due to betrayals in the past
Always focusing on personal interests.
A self consultant
Always talking to self
Many label him crazy while bullying
From their own awareness
They're not aware of his pains and shames
He's always consulting himself
No longer trust people with his weaknesses.
Always staying in his lane
Without any complain
Already use to the pains
Confidentially walking around
With scars from trauma and betrayals
He rides in solitude, a deep thinker very empathetic.

Light Bulb Thinker settled down to concentrate on work
Ideas were parading, from his job he did not shirk.
Librarians hushed their clientele, so LBT could think.
Phrases and vocabulary came to him in green, yellow and pink.
Wonder what is happening? Another thinker asked.
Not sure, said the book worm, is he comfy and masked?
Does he have to be? A patron asked in a hushed tone.
They watched the amazing thinker, as he sat still as stone.

You saw me riding my bike
as I came to the cross walk
you were there again
admiring the flowers
in my basket I chimed
my bell as the little man
legs started to move
inside the box flashing
light began blinking
on the street pole
I noticed you again
as I began to cross instantly
you pulled out no signal
confusing traffic sirens glared
my inner ear blood stained
my helmet a truck driver yell
that driver never turned
on a signal how was I
too know she'd pull out
eyes sinking mind thinking

A singular thinker misses the blinker missing the link up trying to sync up
drinking the drink up now he’s a dreamer convinced what he dreams up seemingly sees stuff pulling his sleeves up walking with knees up because he can beat us believe we’re beneath his world supersedes us believing his greatness so high he is weightless in the stratosphere spacious among the creators aligned with the makers but he’s just a being above where he’s being imagining what he’s seeing imagination set free in manifested but breathing but it’s dead like a sinner a delusional winner brain cells getting thinner unaware that they simmer to a simple beginner just a singular thinker

"So long as we live in the mutiny of archaic order, there will be no lack of dispensation to the sorts of liberty that's lost under it's rule of exploitation, soley designed, to enslave the benefactor of a free-thinking mind."

The Thinker
These are precarious times we’re living in
That shakes our fancy but bores us to the whim.
When the right hand doesn’t know the other,
And as the left leg steps forward, the right one falters.
And everywhere here and there’s laughing.
But that isn’t all that’s happening.
I thought about it afterwards and felt chagrined.
I knew somebody, somewhere, was suffering.
And as my brain bounces away from poking at the fat,
I look this way and that, while others look distract.
Ergo, I surmise following deliberation of fact:
There’s no difference between the intellectuals and the mass.
And as inspiration flows from my head to feet.
I think I’m smarter than what I appear to be.

Creative Thinker
David J Walker
Before it was
It was a thought
That had depth
And meaning
In life and breath of
It’s given dimensions
Taken form
the firmament of the
Flora and fauna and conform
To life from a single cell
In the soiled sweat
Of a thought that would
Be bourn through its
Creative thinker

MS. HATTIE: THE SOUL TOUCHER
Her kindness kindled the soul,
Her sense of dignity and brilliance
Permeated the classroom
Inciting logic and wit
That only a “thinker” could endure
She plunged forth in strident awe as though
Learning about God were all there was to life.
Her smile engulfed the hearts of her students
And evoked an intrigue for enlightenment.
O, the mystery of the Soul Toucher,
How well she proselytized us into believing
that all things were possible to the
“thinker” and the “doer”
She taught with providence
as she subtly glided about our gray matter,
uniting the hemispheres
so as to unite hearts
daring us to become
the sole proprietors of our destinies.
