Theresa and Leah: A Poem

Theresa had a quirk.
She had perfected the twerk.
She did it at work.
She wore a smirk.
And found out her boss had gone berserk.

She twerked over to find
Her partner in crime.
Leah didn't mind.
She fell in line.
And they twerked back over to finish this rhyme.

There once was a girl named Theresa.
She looked like the Mona Lisa.
She didn't fight it.
Because she resided
In the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

She thought she had amnesia.
She couldn't remember 
Why she was so limber.
She had taken too much anesthesia.

Be Kind Anyway-Tribute To Mother Theresa

People are often unreasonable 
And self-centered 
Forgive them any way
If you are kind people may
Accuse  you of ulterior motives
Be kind any way
If you are honest people 
May cheat you
Be honest anyway 
If you find happiness people 
May be jealous

I used to know this girl, her name is Theresa she has been gone for so long
I wonder if she remembers me? Oh how I miss her so!
Maybe one day she will pop up for a visit and remembers how much she loved it here and decides to stay!
Such a joyful happy Day that would be, to look in the mirror and finally be me.

May Showers

When it rains it may pour on the soaking wet poor
drenched to the crossbones feeding on crumbs
too disempowered at food banks to scramble

A hurricane brewing sweeping the floor underneath
slipping away into the floods glass ceilings in sight
that cannot be reached while scraps trickle down

The rich become richer while health care gets lost
advantageous no doubt for social benefits cuts
we got money for Trident but can’t eat the bills

Europe for Britain soon a distant memory and that
powerful vision of Peace and compassion in tatters
Theresa not mother but May showers despair and

Injustice Arrogance neo-liberal Prisons and Shackles
Will someone please find me a raincoat and a rubber
dingy and pray I don’t drown on insanity’s crossings

Theresa she's a Tory 

a disgrace to the fair sex.

She loves to  terrorise the sick

and she takes the cars away from the sick 

and who's mentor Maggie took the milk of your kids 

tax breaks for the filthy rich

and visits to a food bank so you can feed your kids

suicide's the only option when your  benefits are stopped

and all because of the torys heartless cuts

well Id rather be a slimy slug  or a poisonous  snake  

just please god if die,  don't bring me back as one of Theresa the Tory's mates.

Theresa May What Should We Say

Oh May,
What should we say?
Turning around the U.K in this way
Many react with dismay
Others shouting hooray!
Can we have our cake and eat it in a jiffy?
As soon as we have triggered Article fifty?
Can she be so clear
To cause such fear?
In Europe and in Blighty
Is she speaking eruditely?
Some liken her to Thatcher
Can she match her?
Yet another tremor in UK's political earthquake
causing further trepidation for what will be at stake
For some a disquieting unease
While others are content even pleased
Not knowing what our neighbour's admit
causing more prudence to every Brit
Employees having to be displaced
In a Brexit Race
Or choosing to stay in the UK and lose employment
Is this what we call enjoyment?
Oh May
What should we say?
Between denial and rationalisation we ricochet

If the birds stop building nests in spring

Precious memories caresses with grief
We know that a flower in a beautiful garden can die

Each friend you meet in life, is born under a star
The strength, warmth, dreams and questions

Someone who always has a special part of your life
A battle to succeed when everything seems so useless

Deeper than the ocean, two souls who shared a friendship
Your birth in heaven will be a beautiful and caring angel

Gathered in a lifecycle perspective to say goodbye

Let's do it now before its too late.
The more we move closer,
The more i feel it nearer.

That we might reach its peak in season.
Time's almost up for us to be marred or left to live.

Let me touch thy tatoos
And unveil that which no man has
