There you go
mind like an accordion
with eyes aglow
and first to start
words pile up
into a pile of ashes
enough to fill me up
and smother my heart
was there a reason
for crashlanding
was it out of season
or just a mess
there’s rot in the bone
for so many say no
though prone
to the eternal yes.
If I could go back
Erase time
I wipe the tears that stain my very face
I have a hard time to stop and try to replace
The memory remains
The pain stands still
Letting go seems impossible
When you seem to be the only one who really knows
The truth inside the walls that surround me
My mind whirls around like a hurricane caught in the storm of the eye of a hurricane
I take flight
When will I reach the ground
I long to find a new path from here
I search to find that I am going no where
I find empty thoughts filling me with the reality you will never come back near
Am I use to the hurt
Do I enjoy it
I really lay back and wonder how to move the pieces
That will let me release you from my heart
When the story never seems to end
Time moves and the journey goes on
Even when your far from the place I wander at
I look to find new meaning
What is the point
I try to be able to make a change
And come to the point I lost you a long time ago
there you go again
your feet in circles running
while i smash the lamp
whisper
love's call
to one and all
who
will hear
will receive
and dwell
an hour
a day
not yours
to tell
or know
the balm
such love
can sow
multiply
and grow
again
a voice
in whispers
low
There you go acting selfish again, there you go putting me beneath your friends. There you
go never wanting to spend time with me, there you go lying to me about places you say
you’ll be. There you go always putting yourself first, out of all the others, why do you tell me
that I am the worst? You never really talk to me anymore, there you go doing what you do
best and just walking out the door. There you go acting the same way all over again, I’m
almost to the point of just bringing this relationship to an end. I used to love you so very
much, but I guess that my love just wasn’t enough. All the love and trust I used to have for
you, you will never know, lying and hurting me again, there you go.*
