Temples of Profit

They came with robes and golden rings,
Not to heal — but to own sacred things.
With Bibles bound in blood and silk,
They turned living water into poisoned milk.

Altars became ATMs,
Forgiveness priced in tithes and gems.
Salvation auctioned on Sunday screens,
While hungry mouths haunt shattered dreams.

They preach of heaven, sowing fear,
But drive their heaven in Bentleys near.
They claim to serve the Lamb once slain —
Yet dine in halls of Caesar's gain.

Not soul but ego leads the choir,
Their prayers are wires, their God — empire.
The gospel now a corporate creed,
With holy names used just for greed.

But beneath this glass cathedral’s dome,
The Spirit weeps and finds no home.
For truth is quiet, love is free,
Not bound by walls or policy.

And still, the light that can't be sold,
Flickers in hearts both brave and bold.
The soul knows lies, the heart can see —
That faith was never meant to flee.

So let them sell their plastic grace,
While truth returns to its rightful place.
Not in a pulpit draped in gold —
But in the silence prophets hold.

Temples

Temples

Slightly open are my
temples. Mosquitoes need a
place to
rest. On the whole drinking or
bathing in
mosquito piss isn’t an
unpleasant or
a wrong thing
to do. It cures
diarrhoea.

What does it mean,
To love You?
Which would this be:
Is it such, or untrue?
How may I wake,
To trust You?
What permeates?
My faith, destitute!

As aurum rightly shines,
For luster may come through:
I’d rather yield inside;
So, my prayer, ensues –

Premium MemberThe Holiest of Temples

Every woman is,
A temple of God's love,
However,
When with a child, she becomes,
The holiest of the temples
For
The divine Will of our Lord does
Incarnate,
Thus
An imperative is for us, her
To venerate!

Unfinished Temples

20 October 2020

Leaves that rise better
than roots
make no sound when
they fall.
Once, Earth was created
for my
karma to heal yet
in this
silence of waiting rooms,
the sun
rises inside my temple.
I am
a molecule away from
an unfinished
symphony that keeps impersonating
my frustration
because my
energy cannot
hear itself think like
swallowing set symbols of
lungs on
dehydrated pages missing you.

Temples of Glass

there's change when awoken
in hours dark
where birds are yet to sing

horns sit in the harbours
silent in abandon

I search within the light
across the mighty mighty seas
of antiquity

I don't need eyes
to see
as I feel
your beauty
cutting thru the fog

its fragments, its filters
emoting in the echos
an open mind

it's playing
a harpsichord of hope
tethered
strung out
wrapped around your anchors

and you're still there

in my blindness
a feeling
free flowing

forever reaching
for a future of living
the eternal verities of life

outside looking back
at the sacred temples of glass

Temples of Kemet

In these desert lands,
there are these ancient sites.
I've come to meet with the powerful ones.
the ones who will guide me.

 In this antique city,
where the granite pillars stand.
walls are carved with age-old stories,
remnants of color are still preserved.
Where I come to speak to the gods.

 Near the Nile,
I wander in the massive halls.
observe the paintings of my ancestors,
reading the ancient texts.
arms raised out as I walk through,
calling out for their wise help.

 Dressed for the secret ceremony,
in a blue robe trailed behind me,
hair wrapped in a golden headwrap.
decorated in golden trinkets,
sandals sweeping in the loose sand.
Ra's light radiates upon my melanin flesh.

I collapse at the altar, surrender myself.
incense burn, smoke rise, the scent of myrrh.
head down, whispering in prayer in the old language.
displaying my respect for them.
I've come to seek knowledge,
for them to give me wisdom.

 In this grand chamber,
the blessings I've come to receive,
for they seek my attention,
for they deserve my want.

I have come to show them gratitude.
I have come to offer my love.

Some Temples

Some temples are cluttered.
Everywhere there are
wrathful-playful-sexual-vengeful-
gesturing-carousing-beckoning-
ascending-descending-riding-
weeping-flying-singing,
or just sitting around
   Gods.

The congregation ride luggage carts
in the dead of night,
sing drunkenly, slam doors,
or watch HBO with the volume way up,

That was a hotel in Muncie Indiana.
A temple I shared with a rumba dancing Shiva
and a bottle of Jim Beam
but the vibe was the same.

When I finally nod off, I dream of wearing
Day-Glo Speedos
in an elevator
while
reading
the Kama Sutra.

One level up,
the Tallahassee chapter of the honorable order of Shriners,
surrounds me with their juiced-up joie de vivre.

I rise with them to the seventh floor
where at last I find
my omnipresent self.

Premium MemberTemples of Battle

Do you dare present me your Indigent heart, and presume it worthy?
Do you imagine you may claim my crown through Obtuse eyes?
You walk upon this land I have won, disgracing the temples of battle
Which the memory of my lost soldiers Consecrate,
As you, in youth's Delirium, daydream of thrones and trophies,
My teeth have tasted the blood of Awakening giants.
Your Delicate unranked bone and sinew can not combat
The Egregious climb of time that looms and shadows.
In your folly, you naively expect to Mediate defeat,
But here, there is no counsel for the conquered.

Temples of Temptatious Time

Temples of Temptatious Time

Love cascades as liquid lust and moonbeams throw a thriving thrust

The gods walk on their carnal crust drinking nectar a menstrual must

Amidst their ambient amorous array raining roses a botanical display

Love bewitches a beguiling ballet vestal virgins with a floral bouquet

~~~
Honey drips on the Venus veil as the sensual staffs begin their sail
Loves lubricants with abiding ale arise to climax the masculine male
Desires in temporal time stimulate as seductive skins consummate
Chronos devours the seconds of fate as genitals into ecstasy gyrate
~~~

Timekeepers of eternal bliss give birth to lovers a boisterous blitz

Licentious fantasies reminisce admits depths of the amoral abyss

Orgiastic ovulations await, white knights promiscuously penetrate

Nilpotent Nanos nefariously negate as moments in time magistrate.

Unfolding Temples

With a body made of paper, he went outside to feel the drops of rain.
Leaving behind an aluminum roof, cardboard siding.
He extended his arm feeling the calmness of her splash. Exploding into a million more drops.
It began to rain harder. With her granting his very wish.
He stood there for a moment. Rain drenching him with an excitement he'd never before felt.
He fell to the ground in a puddle of her longing.
She pressed her face against his neck and cried.
His blue and red lines began to melt. Trailing down into the puddle.
He weighed himself in her depth, feeling the ripple of her hand lap against his face.
He suffocated in that moment.
Unfolding himself against her curve,
Loosing form of his body. His tongue in tune with hers.
Epsom salt to the ache of sore muscles.
This was the effect she had on him.
The first time him facing an outer body experience.
Floating about until they both evaporated.
With him holding every drop of her, until there was nothing left
Baptized within each others temple
Heads folded down. Enveloping each other

Cult Temples

His heart was a philosopher's stone
that broke down happiness
to it's components
of sex and being alone.

Her skin was the Ouija board
he used in order to receive
messages beyond her soul.

And when they were rapt
in their circle of consummation,
they found the face of
erotic compassion.

In the Land of Ruined Temples

beaming flowers of red
and magenta emancipating
trees breaking branches
handicapped yellow dog
ruminating cows urinating
healing potion in the
land of the ruined temples

In the Land of Ruined Temples

we are up
beyond time
and space
dark caves of
wood and stones
merging into sleep
in the infant night
when they are drinking
dancing and seducing
surfacing on dreams
of dogs cows and rickshaws
of the land of ruined
temples
we need to go soon

To Ruined Temples

wireless charging
aching muscles
drained cells
i am exhausted
from
the intoxication
of love
dehydrated from
the emancipation
of spirits
going east to
the ruined temples
