Premium MemberWearable Tech

I think that if I could have wearable tech
it might be a vest that inflates in a wreck.
Perhaps a decoder of lyrics by Beck,
or one that converts between gallons and pecks?
Or lets me run wild in the ship’s holodeck.
But I am afraid if I am circumspect,
it is I that this tech likely tries to inspect,
to direct my actions, make me genuflect.
Big brother, who watches, with powers unchecked!
So with due politeness and all due respect,
This wearable tech is a watch I reject.

Premium MemberJust Think of It

I can talk to my brother 10,000 miles away
Make conference calls from Beijing to Monterrey

Warm up my car from the comfort of home
Attend a ballgame in the rain under a dome

Manage a company while on perpetual vacation
Buy a new car with no sales negotiation

Design a skyscraper with a few clicks here and there
If a doctor, perform surgery remotely from anywhere

So, why can’t I just eat right and lose weight
I guess it’s ‘cos home-cooked food tastes so great

Premium MemberQueen of Social Media

My friend is queen of social media USA
Did you know….
Your goddaughter has lice?
Your mother is keeping a man on the side?
Your brother had peanut butter pancakes for lunch?

The queen spends eight to ten hours a day
Reading about what others had to eat
What restaurants they are visiting
Who they are having elicit relationships with
I am glad to not be part of this weird culture.

Available Technological Service

A laptop lightens my mood,
Yet persuades me to be rude.
It’s always told what to do,
Yet in my mind it breaks through.

An iphone aids in stalling
During moments of squalling
Yet no one cares about that,
As everyone likes to chat.

The laptop is my teacher
If it’s not a poor creature
Yet the same bloke is flagrant
If common sense is vacant.

The iphone is my brother
If us two works together
Yet it would be my medium
If my life’s filled with tedium.

Thus, both souls need your utmost
In shaping the world we boast
If you want a great service
Thus? No need to be nervous!

Chipped

Chipped
They ask us to trust them when we get the anti CCP Virus jab
So we are safe and sound and protected from their virus
But upon reading multiple reports and articles
I’m scared ing less about being jabbed up
I can die in a dozen horror film ways too gory to say
A really bad gig that many innocents took one way trip
With so many years to live now stolen with their lives
This is wrong and not right you must agree?
What do I believe? Is the CCP Virus made to kill us?
Rid the world of 7 billion people so only 500 million survive
Of course this is bull from a badly scripted B-Movie
But where did they get their idea from a damn crackhead?
It’s obvious something is wrong and we are now under control
Big Brother lived out his film script 1984 style and here we are
Lockdowns and vaccines and troops on the street
It will get much much worse when we are forcibly chipped…

Premium MemberA Much Smaller Place

Our planet's a much smaller place today;
the internet connects us one to one.
And we understand what each has to say;
everyone can converse with anyone,
foreign translations are instantly done.

We're now able to link with each other;
learn how we differ and what goals we share.
Calling strangers my sister or brother;
we expound on love and voice our despair,
sharing our cultures so each is aware.

To inform us what's happening in life,
we no longer rely upon the news.
And to protect our endangered wildlife;
we share global environmental views,
posting pictures of what the world may lose.

The internet changed how we interact;
social media stands in for a friend.
And, as we distinguish fake news from fact,
it provides a platform where wounds can mend;
and innate similarities can blend.

Utopia, New World Futurism

Utopia, New World Futurism

Let’s consider for a moment, do we exist are we real,
Or perhaps just holograms with flesh and bones.
Controlled, programmed by covert powers that be,
Observed perpetually by all-seeing Alien drones.

Laptops, Tablets Smart phones surveying us all,
They know what you do, they know what you think.
CCTV cameras, the eye in the sky, satellite detection,
Orwell spoke of Big Brother, now we’re on the brink.

We’re watching you, watching us watching you.
Scary really, creation of self-programmed Android.
Mummy, Daddy your child needs responsiveness,
Take your eyes from the screen, away from the void.

Science fiction is now, machines ruling our world,
But they’re not Robots, Automatons or mechanisms,
It’s us, people have become machines, DELETE, RE-BOOT,
Welcome my friends to Utopia, new world Futurism.

Hill, By and Blow - the three Billies brothers
Were constantly fighting each other

Blow was the boldest
By was the baby by another mother

They've tuned into your frequency
And watch you from your TV
   Invading your privacy
  As your thoughts they oversee

They hack into our cell phones
  Stealing all our pics
 Everything we own
They find by just a click

 Big Brother's always watching you
    Through a secret door
They have us under full review
  It's nineteen eighty four!

Upside Down World It Is

Am I wrong,
Or has the world went upside down.
What happened to all? I wonder.

While I said "hello" to my bestie,
He replied "hi" through messenger.
What happened to him? I wonder

I asked my brother to go for an evening stroll,
I will accompany you on my cycle was his answer.
What happened to him? I wonder.

While I told my old colleague "I wanna catch up with you",
We will have a video chat session was his reply.
What happened to him? I wonder.

Is it me or is it the world around me
Has the world went upside down
Or it might be me, thinking downside up.

Looking Back On 2015

Retook a relationship,
With an old friend, chip.

Bought lots of new clothes,
There weren’t any woes.

Became a vegetarian,
Not an authoritarian.

Got back to YouTube,
More of the mind cube.

Wrote evolution essay,
Not creationism heavy.

Wrote about my brother,
Who was often my other.

Contacted a technology OT,
I’m not special blatantly.

Downloaded a course,
Won’t become hoarse.

Wrote lots of poetry,
Not ashamed, openly.

Overfuture

There will be no secrets
Nowhere to hide
The left and right being outwitted
And little brother inside

The drones and data crawlers delve
Dreams and nightmares being ourselves
Compiled evidences mount concern
While mankind’s bridges burn

Our cyborg image never shown
Our accessories scent allured us
Hums of technology a pleasant moan
We breathed deep the aroma’s service

Bandwidth culture firmly in place
Everyman has no face
Ethnicity of avatar and clan of choice
 Everyman selects a voice

The blind face themselves feeling
Something’s missing out of sight
 Reaching for the cognitive ceiling
 Surrendering for wrong and right

To machines constant drumming
The overfuture’s coming
Where there’s nothing left to do
And no difference from me to you

Internet Campfire

The world peeks at one another
Reaches out or maybe not
To a stranger or a brother
What is get and what is got
In our virtual melting pots

Everything is something like it
In all the places we’ve been
Across the fire we all sit
On the other side of a screen
Where we can’t be seen

Calling soft, cry or shout
There’s darkness out there
While the world is all about
In the cyber night beware
If it’s your soul you share

Once upon a time ago
We called from tenements
To bricks and windows
To ourselves in lost lament
 As early proto blogs went

With a voice in the night
Drawing flies and crowds
The world just out of sight
Gave the night its lowly vows
“Really” laughing out loud
