Jesus is vastly superior
He understands the interior of your heart
Duck out of society and
Take counsel with God the Father
This will impact your situation
So that you can impact it with His Mind
Jesus is vastly superior
He understands the interior of your heart
So speak to Him

Sinking into a True Despair
It’s like trying to shoot a monstrous ghost that you can’t ever see,
and, at the same time, this applies when one wants to kill a rumor,
and where everything is just like water running off a duck’s back,
and when you can’t see the source of it as it disappears over time.
Yet, if this leak becomes a true object of issue and a real concern,
then all the damage is irreparable and beyond any hope of saving.
It’s at this stage that we choose to cut our losses and to move on.
And, why not? Despair is always a part of the human experience.
Yet, where there is “despair” there can also be “hope,” if each of
us have the courage to summon it and to never take counsel of
our own fears. Hope can spring eternal, if the human will is stout
and courageous. Let us hope so and make it so!

O God where are you?
have you forgotten me?
I can't see your face
where can it be?
My hearts sore with sorrow
each and every day
the enemy looks down on me
how long will it be that way?
O Lord speak clearly to me
help me from this plight
lighten up my eyes
take the darkness from the night
Don't let my enemy win
for they'll rejoice in that
leaving me all shaken up
bound down and flat
But your steadfast love
I trust rejoicing in your salvation
for you've dealt with me graciously
so I sing to the Lord with elation
AUTHOR NOTES:
How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I take counsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,”
lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.
But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Alone
To be an outcast loner
To never really fit
To wander on your own
Not a tourist not a bit
To walk on the narrow path
To take counsel from no one
To smile when others laugh
Content to be alone
To live in a crowded city
But really on your own
To never look for pity
But the girl has surely flown ?

Often you reel, stagger and fall
in the dizzying whirl of complexities
of a fast-paced, competitive city life;
you think you've got to rush along
armed with complicated schemes
or else, you'll end up very dead;
you may take counsel from water
that has just been poured into a glass,
filling, taking the form of the latter,
patiently waiting for tiny particles
that float or swirl in it to settle down,
as silent sediments at its bottom.
