So Good To Me

Oh Lord You are so good to me
Something for me every day
If not for You I wouldn't see
If not for You I couldn't pray
Your life-giving bread sustains me
You give hope to carry me through
Graciously You come when I call
With You each day is new
You catch me when I fall

That gorgeous girl I spy each day,
At the station where trains dance and sway.
A thousand glances, met her eyes,
A thousand words, none a disguise.

Her shoulders bear meaning, profound,
Tears of longing, softly unbound.
I’ve seen it all, a witness true,
Even before our first debut.

Destruction woven in destiny’s thread,
Unseen forces that firmly spread.

	They have seated her with others
	All sitting in a straight line in the rec room,

        But she is alone.

Water Sustains Life

Every civilization has depended on water,
our Earth without it would be another moon;
blue oceans secure this nation from invasions,
but also cause destructive storms and death.

There's no other planet like ours, its waters
invigorate plant life, seasons renew themselves;
who would live in an arid desert exposed to wind
with no precipitation, only sun? Who would survive?

Once, I entered insanity with nothing
and walked away with something
can only be explained as knowing
everything is perception
nothing is real
just the really fake
and the only power
is in that which you create
something from nothing
a simple knowing
no one ever knew me
except for what they accepted
from everything but the source

a nothing existence
in an invisible sun
