"There is nothing in the desert ... and no man needs nothing." - TE Lawrence
~
providence …
vast-upon-vast ...
Deucalion, gifter of cities, met
do you not now see your charge?
'tis upon the peaks
titanium white -
aching, ancient arias borne by a thrush
find their proper reports
amid canyon vaults
built by the hand, Prometheus
to press and place
columns, grand and gilded of the sun
this, this is where gods weep fury
bound by the faults of
human calamity …
an eye, sapphire streaked
and damp with dour
bounces reach-to-reach on the morn
scraping stars away with
bitter disregard …
despair not, in its dazzled gaze
for the fiery fells are given
god-to-godless, thus
his pleasure is to dance for their sobrieties
and give supplement to
their vain and vapid adoration
sad Prometheus, father
clothed in only pity
clasped to you by blood and
progeny's err …
for the little beasts
who beg of his portions
and their seed -
'tis a weep, barren ...
the ruin of man.

Brown, terrifying, evoking horror.
It sleeps for winter: windless plus serene.
Eminently powerful explorer,
Now juddered in its reflective routine.
Winter’s wild violence ends—spring does chime;
ferocity dwindles, some circumvent.
The cold soldier concludes its trimonth prime.
From it, the brown furry does supplement .
It’s Melursus Ursinus, so you see.
Spring is discernible in this fixture,
Yet the evil monster lurks, winter’s free.
Flowers plus evil combined in mixture:
Virtue with vile, well known rugged tension
Good mixed with evil, whole there’s to mention

It looked like a bleached tongue
pulled from a mouth,
petrified and incapable
now of letting a word slide over
its calcified silence.
I picked it out of the wet sand
and held it in my hand.
It had little weight, smooth
on one side and pitted
on the other. A cuttlefish bone.
It was a marvel of engineering.
My fingers followed its shape,
took in its texture, the pleasurable
feel of its form. I lifted it to my nose
and smelt its salty, faintly fishy
odor, sea washed to a clean
unsullied smell. It had undergone
a change into something
beyond life, into an artifact of time.
I kept it cradled in my hands,
held it like a sacred relic.
I have seen them too
shrink wrapped in plastic bags
on the end of supermarket shelves,
a calcium supplement for birds
to be hung on a hook
inside of a cage.
They were selling for $2.50
or thereabouts.

Sulfuric dew sonatas, rustling in a bobby reek
Vermillion of umbra and debased conundrums
Rosemary pulp extracted from the pulpy bosom.
wilting amid the cranberry tackle
blubbering irises with a tinge of snow
Crimson lava that has solidified.
painted with the scent of murdered love
No longer a viable supplement; prohibited.
Lilith's spells were drenched in blood hype.
In crisp dears, a neolithic Pandora box shivers.
It drizzled a steely dolefulness across my core.

Health supplement rages nowadays
It's said to improve health
And so maybe for a better health
And so maybe for a longer life span
And so maybe for a more relaxed life
A pharmacist may introduce
A variety of health supplement
But we feel suspicious
Because we're spiritually unsafe
Maybe we need a religion
Maybe we need some leisure
Maybe we need some friends
Maybe we need our family
Maybe we need love and affection
Maybe we need a dream
Health supplement alone
Won't accomplish what we need
Spiritually
Unless we fall sick
Health supplement alone
Won't accomplish what we need
Spiritually
Maybe the bible
A supplement from heaven
Will do

Now he’s going for a treatment
That might swallow much liniment
And lick up copious supplement ;
About this, no long argument …
Watching was I Sir Cecil hop,
Not once, not twice, in real pain stop,
His discharging sweat sadly mop
And his injured feet sometimes drop;
All these in the next street flop,
A watcher to pity The Fop
And arrange A Medic on Top…
And there was to be one stop
To curiously look at some crop
Before in the rain a dared bop,
As though briefly rung Jackson’s Pop…
Cecil to Patients The Cynic
I saw just head for a clinic.

With each passing day, living becomes so classing;
For the less, is a delightful day of mess
And the field of play, sought on us turbulent weather to be healed.
That gladly under the sun; for daily bread, we morn.
Heavenly father's day is for us and our mother.
Wailing in her heart to keep fit while inhaling
The scent of our clothing with a wish for supplement,
To make up of our beautiful rag for keepsake.
Tattered yet nice outfit she do say to us,
Worried inside but cheerful we look always.
Community concerns may be little, in between we do discuss...
What more is to life when you are happy to make others amaze!
And keep wondering on earth how strong you are.
With the challenges bestowed upon you,
Yet all isn't lost to fate afar...
For CHANGE is constant to make life anew

From the day
That dates your day
Till this very morning
Your look is adorning
Oh dear friend so kind
Your acts blow my mind
I remembered my schedule
When we're both at school
Many are times you come
To fill a space like a mum
That my absence is duly right
Demands on me were so tight
My assignment became yours
Already yours are enough chores
Yet you stand for the compliment
At will added mine as supplement
What a selfless act actualizing deeds
That define heart's acts pictorial reads
Till night maami, continue growing
Let your days' praises be glowing
May your birthday be fruitful
Counting blessings; how thankful
In grace prospect, enjoy the spark
This moment splashes on its mark
Deborah is nicer
Maturely wiser
Than ever before
And friendly to the core
As years come and go
Take pride in care not ego
That your happiness
Continues to grow
In peace full of coziness
To make documents blow
How your dreams in fun
Fulfill destiny under the sun
Be a historically significant lady
Filled with pleasure in Christ
Who isn't deficient or shady
Of days taking delight in tryst

1. Nigeria my mother's land
Old as olumo rock
Always green in vegetation
Rich in culture and traditions
5. Nigeria my mother's land
A nation with diversified ethnic group
A nation of diversified in ethnicity
But infield in unity
9. Full of love and caring
Full of different tribe's and custom's
11. Nigeria my mother's land
As colourful as a rainbow in the dark
Shining like a star in the heavens
Sweet as a honey
15. Field with wisdom and knowledge
A land of great icons in work diligent
Our land of hope by two rivers divided
With lush vegetation by nature provided
19. A nation that feeds on diet of heavens
supplement
An ocean that runs through the test of raging
Storms un torn

There’s little to illuminate the path on which we walk,
But glimmers of the truth when lightening rages.
With arrogance our tyranny and ignorance our bliss,
We make the journey through the New Dark Ages.
It’s just another consequence of duty overseas,
A little fun to supplement our wages.
The windowpanes are painted black so no one peers inside;
A common practice in the New Dark Ages.
The enemy is cunning, but we’ve gained the upper hand,
With prisoners locked naked in their cages,
While Justice, wearing combat boots, is tugging at the leash
To lead our nation through the New Dark Ages.
The journalists keep tally of corruption and abuse,
With history recorded on their pages,
But every other line’s deleted, censored by decree;
Another symptom of the New Dark Ages.
It wasn’t our misfortune to arrive here overnight.
We’ve gotten to this state in subtle stages,
At every step along the way ignoring warning signs,
As though we lusted for these New Dark Ages.
