There’s thunder; and thunderous crickets-sound.
The boom-boom that’s not too loud.
The insects, incessant.

Night’s shadows fall more quickly now,
and birds will soon forsake their bough.
A melancholy has begun,
for summering has come undone.
As autumn winds begin to blow,
and in the shadows – sun hangs low -
behold what wonder shall unfold
in orange, crimson, rust and gold.
Yes, colors burst from every tree,
and in this beauty I can see
a potpourri of imagery -
the harvesting of poetry!

Birthing genesis back to We
Falling out as from freedom's favorite tree
Rebirthing Earth wombs warm content
Extending out where gospel time grows bent
Through Creation's prism for network Time
To originally fall from divine sublime
Into rising place of uncultured wandering
Back to exodus from which we came
Regenesis longing free fall belonging
Death lies squandering
Last of climate originating Falls
Tolerating winter
To rebirth genesis
Back to Spring
Summering in a sycamore tree
Rebirthing Earth watching warm co-investment
Passions growing out
Where green revival Time flows rebent
Repent warm womb falling
Into unspent wandering to rise.

Beauty stands summering beneath the heavens;
stimulate the imagination muses.
Leaves sing a lullaby, scents nature leaven.
Seeds bound teeming with life, of a thousand hues.
Dreams hued in summer of perfect love embrace.
A wink of amorous scene of warmth of grace
gold sunshine rays towards endless horizon.
Poetic rich color spun by Barbizon.

Journeying A Temporary Esoteric Plane
As true as it is
And so it be—
Yet
Though one
Of the number
Is no more
We remain perpendicular
To the teeming level plane;
Traveling parallel;
Seeking an enlightening quest:
Though the cold
Dark grave
Lies before us,
It darkness holds no fear—
For ours is a journey of light;
Searching the word
Without wintering end
Nor demise of summering toils;
Knowing that substitution,
Like raindrops, is temporary.

When Autumn veils my season's smile
and lingers in the air a while . . .
though Indian days be gold spun,
my summering will come undone.
Night's shadows fall more quickly now;
birds sooner too forsake their bough.
No tarrying for old friend Sun
when summering becomes undone.
Oh, warmth of Summer, leave me not.
Through Winter's frost I grow distraught.
The melancholy has begun;
my summering will come undone.
As Autumn veils my season's smile,
my summering will come undone.

La capinera's wintering pieces of tropic tunes
The garden warbler's echoes of dark melodies
Post-colonial poets return by summering fortunes
Learnt by rote as sacred Oxbridge duties
