Seems like such a good thing,
too bad there’s an agenda;
It’s strangling the middle class,
making us all dependent
under the guise of a helping hand;
Later we will see the remnants
upside down and inflated;
Shame on us for letting them.

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

What with COVID-19 and such
The Democrats are out of touch
Republicans yelp
They wanted to help
But you're simply not worth that much!

So now we got a stimulus check,
our pockets full, one would expect.
Our larder crammed with cans and jars
to see us through Old Winter's wars.
If only true, it would be nice.
This small amount just won't suffice.
Our sons have mittens, though threadbare;
but better than their underwear.
The blankets--two apiece, but thin.
Their shoes: sad sights, just to begin.
The soup last night was a watery bean,
with day-old bread that's trending green.
The winds blow cold thru our front door;
linoleum cracks adorn the floor.
My job is gone, so is my pride.
I don't like living just to abide.
Now the money's gone and so's the food.
Would I complain? You bet I would!
Still, I'm grateful to have a roof;
not like next door: their lease went poof.
When will those rich folks on The Hill
think of the rest? I guess they never will.

My stimulus paid half the bills
It came from Capitol hill
I said, one more please
They were just a tease
Fighting to pass it, gave me a chill

My neighbor passed in July but her mail keeps coming. I didn't know why. Our mail boxes are very small. I haven't lived here long and hardly knew her at all. Perhaps her son was too bereft to notify the post office of her death? I tried reaching out to him on the phone but only got an answer tone. Today as many a day before, I gathered up the mail and left it at her condo door. I glanced at it and thought what the heck, she had finally received a stimulus check. Due to the circumstances it's quite funny, is there no oversight before printing out money? Where she's gone at ninety three, she has no interest in stimulating our economy.

Who would’ve thought that we would be eating stimulus for breakfast, 1200 dollars, no more, no less. Why couldn’t the stimulus be for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Again we see that the government is still in control, for they are still the winner. Stimulus taste better with some change. It’s time to past the new bill and make a change. Make the world a better place. Tell the Illuminati what you really want to their face. Let’s all have a stimulus reunion and have some cheer leaders cheer like the UCLA bruins. Taking a stand for the protesting clan; holding up these signs because they are our biggest fan. Stimulus verses the people. Let’s hold hands with the Stimulus so they can help pay our rent and be equal. Stimulus America, 2020!

Joe tried to get his stimulus check,
It wasn’t there and he said “oh, heck!”
Gawking at a man’s hand
Nearly fell in some sand,
And lost his footing off his own deck.
The man asked “Were you trying to see
What I was holding, Mr. McDee?”
Then he showed him his check.
And Joe muttered, “Oh, heck!’
I have not got one. How can this be?

people are sick
society stifled and slowly sliding away
will one willingly escape
from stagnant airs
kiss me says the fool
six pence none the richer
but richer they claim to be
in shallow folds
of bills
put off to tomorrow
shaking hand(out)s
without any silly gloves
it's not greed
when you act out
when a want is a need
distance what distance
(un)masked attention
let's be social
(in)security
no content nor consideration
for the old
for their young
crying
generations dying
before blind eyes
all hopped up on weed

God-wrought wonders, miraculous
Great deeds, omnipotence-proven
Exposing His grace, marvelous*
Revealing glimpse of grand heaven…
Moving my spirit, faith-driven
To vanquish doubts, ridiculous
While in Christ’s mercy --- forgiven
Serving midst love-blest stimulus.
*Psalm 9:1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

when I said bring your hand
she did submit her hand
though the fingertip hesitated
for the amber glow gesticulated
I told her come closer
and she slowly came by
the forehead protruder
for the sense an intact ruler
as I waited for the conscious act
though with little hope and speculation
she turned to sigh and tact
for the three teardrop sensation
unable to say no to say yes
and likewise rooted in proximal
yes, the heart chanted the guess
for the only option was no natal
and the power of the cut is neither
blunt nor sharp but a force
the more the don't wants out slither
for either way no toss
But with full force landed the palm
followed by the cheek and the click
and then came the hearty psalm
The soreless immersion in fresh springs

If from love I should flee
To hide the shame that smudges my name
According to a lovers’ decree
I’d have only my incompetence to blame
While her heart throbs
Expecting action and perceiving inaction
Swept into an inquiry that probes
Why my predilection
To dither
To lose the power to utter how much I love her
When her presence makes my knees quiver
I curse my inability to deliver
Words she longs to hear
From poetry buried deep within the manifesto
She expects couched in clear
Tones dropped pronto
In confines within earshot
That should steer love to a platform
Where the cot and pot
Where love expectations roam
Receive a speedy stimulus
From me to elicit the right response
The love focus
At once
If her love I’m to win
With her full cooperation
To install the queen
Who rules both my heart and my attention.

When I am all by myself
Lethargy possesses me
And the creativity lying
Deep within me, oozes out.
I become intensely alert
Inwardly and sit quietly
Pondering, over the
Meaning of existence.
I glide with the wings of
Feelings and imagination
To soar into the realms of
Varied visions of creation.

a constanza
When justice suffers miscarriage,
and government’s way out of scope,
One judge stands firm - Jesus, our hope.
Christ speaks with clear, simple language.
In mercy and truth, without flaw,
“I have come to fulfill God’s law.”
One policy shapes His salvage.
His righteousness consists thereof –
His blood for our sin - perfect love.
In Him we gain right of passage,
but redemption wants repentance;
Christ’s mandate - complete allegiance.
Jesus, our stimulus package.
Stir us, Worthy Lamb who was slain
Desire of Nations, come and reign
the monorhymed stanza
When justice suffers miscarriage,
Christ speaks with clear, simple language.
One policy shapes His salvage.
In Him we gain right of passage,
Jesus, our stimulus package.
