Watching the sunrise,
In the early morning sky,
Stunning red and yellow sun glowing,
Appearing over the mountains so high.
The mist has cleared,
So slowly, fading away,
As a new day is about to begin,
Hope life brings you happiness and joy,
A feeling of peace within.
Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Ruffling the feathers
Of your expectations.
Rilke to the left.
The portrait of Alf
The back of my left ear.
What unconscionable theives,
These Time Czars,
Where we live with the scars,
As joy bounces on the crevices.
I see you in the dark in some cave.
Let me be your bombastic populist.
The Strong Arm of the Soul.
Play in the light of least resistance.
My garden grows in the garden of your heart.
My every breathe is your eternal existence.
Bite the doughnut.
Press for hugs.

Sometimes I don't think at all
Nights like this having staring contests with the ceiling
I concentrate on the little sparkly bits in the vast field of white
The nothingness
the lid to my Universe
Sometimes I want to rip it away
Leave myself exposed
For the elements to come pick the flesh off my bones
finish tearing me apart so that I don't have to
Not think at all
Put the lid back on when you're done

Up here Inside there at the Center
My Voices quickly Come slap again
They Point it out and Run it down harsh
It Smarts
Voices Voices I got it I Hear you
Voices Voices I know it I’m Listening
Over another Off to the Left
My Voices funny Voices clever Chatting
They Smile at me and Nod yeah yeah
It's Good
Voices Voices I got it I Hear you
Voices Voices I know it I’m Listening
Backwards Sideways Rolling along
My Voices Remember Odd defiant now
They Mix it up and Flesh it out nice
It Kicks
Voices Voices I got it I Hear you
Voices Voices I know it I’m Listening
Front toward Right under All the way
My Voices harden Voices strong Pushing
They Grab on and Hold tight Straight up
It’s Solid
Voices Voices I got it I Hear you
Voices Voices I know it I’m Listening

I had never seen one of these orange poison faerie frogs until now.
She was a beauty for sure, her spots were symmetrical, she was a wow.
I could not stop staring. After a bit she asked me to please stop.
I screamed as she made a move toward me with one giant hop.

Soil with sabrino, boil with babinoes white
Fire of witches, fire with switches bright
I gaze into your depths, feeling amazingly light
Wondering what dish you will bring me tonight
Soil with sabrino, boil with babinoes red
Fire of the ghouls, the ghosts, the goblins and the dead.
My mind concentrates on the powers you have over me.
I am ready to join you in the black cavern under the sea.

Spirals downward ending in a platform
The end of the descent, the end of it all
A way to silence the eternal storm
Going out with one loud bang
A hush goes through the passageway
Not often one wanders through here
All alone as I ponder the many days
And which ones make it worth staying
Would I sleep restfully if I took the jump?
Or start everything all over again, and again
Looking over the edge, in my stomach a lump
Teetering over the rail, and back onto the floor
Maybe there will come a time
In the near, or distant future
Where I will make my final rhyme
As I stare down stairs for the last time

A pretty young girl walked right up to me
stuck in her finger in my belly and decreed
'You're old and useless, you should die'
but before I could cry, the pretty girl let fly:
'The future belongs to us, the young and the strong'
~ and it's not remotely possible that she's wrong

As higher than thou head looks upwards
At the many specks of lights we call stars,
All my high mind has to do is look forwards
Ahead to when I am healed from my scars.

At dinner, I stopped and stared at you.
The way an ant stares at a blade of grass
Or a heathen at a temple
And the way a child lays on a carpet in front of cartoons on tv
Staring
Or how the moon needs the earth but can only stare.
The waiter kept walking away
Like a bee above a blooming array
And how a meadow looks at snow
Wondering when
The river will fill it again
And make it green
Like your eyes
Staring at my blue.
Our eyes are soldiers in a field of grass
Bending each blade with our walk
Staring like the face of a rock
Below a mountaintop.
Like a branch and its peach
Our love seems out of reach.
I wish you’d cry your green into my blue
That’s how much I’m staring at you.

One has no more fuel left in tank,
One more dare not give army tank,
With little air in tyres
Bravado of West tires,
Cracks seem to show in NATO rank.

Poet’s note: New Zealand’s prime minister Jacinda Ardern has announced her resignation: ‘I’ve no more fuel in the tank’, she says. Germany, worried of Russian reprisal, is scared of supplying battle tanks to Ukraine. After 11 months of war that still rages, everyone seems to be tired of it mentally and materially. West seems to fight a proxy war at Ukraine’s cost, the latter literally left in lurch.

To watch the sun and moon liaison
With eager, wary eyes
I put my special glasses on
And turn to face the skies
Silenced, stilled and blinded
I try, but can’t quite see
For it’s then that I’m reminded
Of childhood’s shadow on me
So very far from there and then
Celestial bodies merge once more
And take me back to where and when
Sol and Luna danced before
To scattered golden crescents
In the ancient oak tree’s shade
Among the jasmine’s essence
Where I wish I could have stayed
When four o’clock was a flower
And ‘52 pickup a truck
To relive that once-golden hour
Was not in the cards or my luck
While yester-me was dazzled
By eclipses at her feet
Currently I’m frazzled
By this heavy August heat
I take my special glasses off
And drop my gaze instead
Eclipses are much better, I scoff
On the ground and in my head.

Staring the sky , whispering towards the star,
full moon rise upon the winter sky.
"Talk spirit talk grant the hopeless person a wish,
reflect upon the sky and teach how to preach".
Lying with one breath left on the bed,
tears stream running as the memory flash back.
One last blink and close it forever,
body grows cold like the air in winter.
Nothing's left , the one last sigh end with a void,
the air dances as the body becomes cloyed.
The richness of death and the poor life
was toyed by the hands of the sweet bitter love.
