For Mayor, Chicago voted for a former teacher
What'd they get ~ a revival preacher
As advertised Brandon Johnson's socialistic
Turns out, he's also spiritualistic
powerful piece de resistance
precise, provocative, posturing
providing plebian pleasure
Statuesque as an Amazon woman,
Platinum or pewter? She perseveres
Prodigious? Preternatural and pivotal
Regal, brilliant, a spiritualistic luster
She sparkles with pure effervescence,
glistens with a gloriousness unknown by most
I follow her pooling petticoat into the
outer limits of my poetic imagination,
expecting nothing less than perfection.
The day I found the butterfly in me,
I was changed forever to delighted.
I found dancing and I could soar carefree,
the butterfly inside me are so united,
we twirl and swirl blissful,
we dip and fold gleeful,
we fly up high cheerful,
optimistic,
aphoristic,
spiritualistic . . .
My dress is gauzy and purple feathery,
with butterfly I am ignited . .
entwined, we are as one with wings filigree,
and when we dance I am happy excited.

The matter between my eyes and my soul is for the materiali$tic
The depths of my soul only reachable by the idealistic
My journey thus far can only be described as realistic
Sometimes I wish my life was more simplistic
I have an aura that makes me spiritualistic
But the L in my name argues I'm more Logicalistic
I'm certainly not evangelistic
In truth I'm just moralistic
When it comes to being verbalistic
I like to think I'm intellectualistic
The day I found the butterfly in me,
I was changed forever to- delighted.
I found dancing where I could soar carefree,
the butterfly and me are so united, that
we twirl and swirl blissful,
we dip and fold gleeful,
we fly up high cheerful,
optimistic,
aphoristic,
spiritualistic . . .
My dress is gauzy and purple feathery,
with butterfly I am ignited . .
entwined, we are one with wings filigree,
and when we dance I am happy excited.
