Lucifer rebels, war ensues
Igniting evil’s deadly fuse.
Evil assails, Michael prevails
Satan’s revolt in heaven fails.

Cast down to earth, and filled with rage
His war with God, on man he’ll wage.
The rebel heart that his being filled
In human hearts he will instill.

Mission achieved by cunning ruse
Igniting evil’s deadly fuse.
Paradise lost, from Eden tossed
Death is the price man’s sin did cost.

Sin like a cancer suffused man’s mind
Evil blossomed, of every kind.
Wickedness so ruined God’s plan
That He was sorry He made man.

At the right time, God sent His Son
On Easter’s morn, the fight was won.
Lucifer’s reign was dealt a blow
God’s love for man was now on show.

The reign of sin will one day end
When God again, His Son will send.
This time to judge the quick and dead
And destroy sinners and their Head.

God’s fire will burn the wicked up
They spurned His bid with them to sup.
In place of sin, God’s love will reign
Eternal life His saints will gain.

Premium MemberNo Problems Solved or Solutions Sought

Most wars are fought for nought
neither problems solved nor solutions sought

Thousands upon thousands upon thousands die, for what

Mystery Solved

Hey diddle diddle
there's no more riddle
I'm a fast learner
I now know how
the cow jumped over the moon
from her afterburner
by methane expelled
through the air she's propelled
the little dog barfed to smell such sport
as the gas blown away made him swoon

I'm teasing my favorite commenter (you know who you are) - lol!

My friends told me I'm not quite right.
So, I saw a doctor for some insight.
The doctor, at first, could only doubt it,
"I don't know how you live without it.
Medical science must be redrawn -
your personality is gone."

Premium MemberI'Ve Solved One Climate Change Issue

About climate change and its effects there has been a lot of chatter.

One concern is that the sea-level is rising and I think I know the matter.

My research reveals that there is a dearth of sea sponges, (that is my notion).

We need to increase the growth of sponges to soak up the water in the ocean!

(Concocted with considerable tongue in cheek!)

Nonet About Life

NONET ABOUT LIFE
Life
Can be
A puzzle,
Not easy to
Be solved in a way
That satisfies the mind.
Or gives pleasure to the soul
Of one looking for answers in
The wrong places and in the wrong ways.

Your Problem Solved

There are no problems in the world
that I can try to solve.
When waiting on my hands and knees
for government to resolve.

That I am waiting for my death
in rights that will dissolve
And paying for my ignorance
in lives that have absolve

Problems

Something is a problem
if you need any solution
 earth is vast
and expanse
peace is a clue
and love is a state
power is her jewel
the world is far and free
no where is dull and dullard
no where is bad and flail
for truth is its constitution
beauty is known to
make up a part of
this universe
of course, nothing, nothing, nothing
is naturally uncompromising.

Problem Solved

A bench that is made out of wood
May cause pain in your back that’s not good,
For the muscles called lats
Can be hurt by the slats;
Sometimes I would change seats if I could.

But you often don’t have that much choice,
So before you let pain have a voice,
Find a pillow to fit
On your back when you sit;
Then in comfort, you’ll rest and rejoice.

Mystery Solved

MYSTERY SOLVED

I watch all the gardening programmes
And follow their advice.
I spend a fortune on bedding plants
To make my garden look nice.
But nothing ever seems to grow,
I really don’t know why.
Though I follow the instructions,
They just curl up and die.
And so, in desperation,
I sowed those “Mystery Seeds”
And now I’ve solved the mystery;
They all came up as weeds.

Then in to save the day came Obama,
