About climate change and its effects there has been a lot of chatter.
One concern is that the sea-level is rising and I think I know the matter.
My research reveals that there is a dearth of sea sponges, (that is my notion).
We need to increase the growth of sponges to soak up the water in the ocean!
(Concocted with considerable tongue in cheek!)

I saw a little button,
It was lying on the floor,
I wondered who had lost it
And looked around for more.
It hadn’t come from Donna
Or from Stuart’s nice new shirt,
And it wasn’t Kelly’s button
That was lying in the dirt.
I couldn’t find who lost it
I had a worried frown.
But now I know the answer,
My trousers just fell down.

Even though Brothers and Sisters I have none
that man standing there is my Father's Son.
He is my savior, Jesus the man from Galilee
if your faith is strong, He will be easy to see.
What is it that gets wetter the more it dries
it could be anything that you see with eyes.
Evil lies, goodness dies, causing a thousand cries
starry eyed I look to the skies as the angel flies.
It goes in dry and comes out wet
the longer it stands the stronger it gets.
Water in the cup turns to tea, the bag steeps
hotter the better with sugar by the heaps.
What goes up a chimney down
but can't go down a chimney up.
It can be used as a prop for a clown
or to cover yourself or your pup.
Raining again, grab the umbrella
'cause this is the day I met my Cinderella.
A Father and a Son on a motor bike accident
the Father is taken to the West end hospital
and the Son is taken to the East end hospital.
The Doctor there goes to operate on the Son
until the Doctor says " I can't do it, it's my Son."
The E.R. is full with this, that and the other
Chief of Staff today is Dr. Mother.
The man that made it, never used it
and the man that used it, never seen it.
He made a system of raised dots, Louis Braille
so the man who lost his sight could stay on the trail.
The only thing that will constantly go up never to come down
it has never been in the sky or even under the ground.
While young birthdays are fun, but always adding more age
no one gets younger, clock never stops, we all turn the page.

The Problem’s Solved
A baboon by his very nature
Urinates in only one spot
He leaves a scent
Right where he went
And that scent to him is hot
If he’s gone from Bulawayo
Fifty miles or more
He’ll return to Bulawayo
When his bladder he must pour
Now an enterprising chemist
In Bulawayo town
Thought maybe baboon urine
Would make her man stay around
Mixing baboon urine and soil
She forms a little cake
Sells it to other women
And boy the dough she makes
She tells Zimbabwe women
To rub it you know where
And once their man has smelled it
He will always come back there
Her stall’s at the city toilets
At the Bulawayo bus depot
An average day is thirty cakes
To women on the go
To women with man troubles
With husbands that tend to stray
She says with baboon urine
That tend will go away
Although the smell is pungent
Zimbabwe women swear
That once a man has dipped his rod
His rod will go just there
There is no scientific proof
These cakes will do the trick
And if you’d ask your Uncle Mike
He’d say “the lady’s sick”
But never one to interfere
If not personally involved
If the he and she both think it works
Then I guess the problem’s solved

Food was disappearing from my house
Right before my eyes could it be a mouse
I put it right here
I know I did I swear
OH it's just my greedy spouse

A Mystery to be Solved
“The Land of Peace”
A mystery to be solved is left for the world
no one ever knew it
cause their thinking haven’t gone beyond those boundaries
Why those souls are leaving those hearts ?
To where those souls are travelling now?
Do they know which road they should take
Are they going to the “Land of Peace”
Questions Remain, Answers left alone.
Secrets are still,
The prisoners of Darkness. the mysteries are giving
scary smiles at me, but I won’t give up
No matter What !
From that prison “ Hallow of Dark”
I will set those secrets free
A mystery to be solved is left for the world
No one ever knew it
cause theirs thoughts
haven’t seen what lies, beyond those boundarys
A mystery to be solved
“The Land of Peace”

Free verse
The hardened, cold expression on Her face softens.
Playful, seeking -
That blessed other half,
She lays with him until the dawning.
Alpha is transcended,
Omega vanquished,
As they both must be.
Concealed trees, along with
The forest that obscures them,
Both dissolve in the rushing, whispering tide there.
All things, for once, become crystal clear,
The center that is the center at the heart of
All things holds fast.
For one shining moment, nothing human needs to be explained:
All things make sense, lovers are free.

Problem Solved
problems big like a mall
causing one to fall
but still things may turn smooth
if one has solid roots
see how trees grow
even when good weather does not show
but still
they stand still
like a steady house
damaged by a mouse
but it remains
like a robbot that has fallen down
it works even at dawn
as long as it is connected
such problems can be solved
and an error be removed.

There are no problems in the world
that I can try to solve.
When waiting on my hands and knees
for government to resolve.
That I am waiting for my death
in rights that will dissolve
And paying for my ignorance
in lives that have absolve

A bench that is made out of wood
May cause pain in your back that’s not good,
For the muscles called lats
Can be hurt by the slats;
Sometimes I would change seats if I could.
But you often don’t have that much choice,
So before you let pain have a voice,
Find a pillow to fit
On your back when you sit;
Then in comfort, you’ll rest and rejoice.

I'm teasing my favorite commenter (you know who you are) - lol!
My friends told me I'm not quite right.
So, I saw a doctor for some insight.
The doctor, at first, could only doubt it,
"I don't know how you live without it.
Medical science must be redrawn -
your personality is gone."

Lucifer rebels, war ensues
Igniting evil’s deadly fuse.
Evil assails, Michael prevails
Satan’s revolt in heaven fails.
Cast down to earth, and filled with rage
His war with God, on man he’ll wage.
The rebel heart that his being filled
In human hearts he will instill.
Mission achieved by cunning ruse
Igniting evil’s deadly fuse.
Paradise lost, from Eden tossed
Death is the price man’s sin did cost.
Sin like a cancer suffused man’s mind
Evil blossomed, of every kind.
Wickedness so ruined God’s plan
That He was sorry He made man.
At the right time, God sent His Son
On Easter’s morn, the fight was won.
Lucifer’s reign was dealt a blow
God’s love for man was now on show.
The reign of sin will one day end
When God again, His Son will send.
This time to judge the quick and dead
And destroy sinners and their Head.
God’s fire will burn the wicked up
They spurned His bid with them to sup.
In place of sin, God’s love will reign
Eternal life His saints will gain.
