Solace

My heart melts in your hugs,
And forgets all day's sorrows.
Admitting to cuddle and snugs,
Only your lead my eyes follow.

Time!
To give you all that you want,
To be with you all night long.

Night Watch

Miles past the nightstand
over the plastic water bottle.
the Ambien pill dispenser
and the soul-bruised eye shades,
an arrhythmic clock
ticks like a bombed-out tank.

Of course there is the lampshade
(that lighthouse for the luminescent krill
of submerged consciousness)
that seems attached to my skin
whenever body parts want to cut ties
with a mattresses concave reality.

Secreted like a drugged shark
in the shallow recesses of a snaring drawer
a snubby barrel with six mad prayers
snugs up against a snoring bible.

The raven iridescence
of night-cats prowl a life leaking bed;
occasionally they look up
their eyes shining
as they search for an alien presence.

On its four arthritic legs the nightstand
watches;
its tour of duty still patrolling a far off
conflict of doubt and faith.

Time to turn over the hull of being,
upright any surface
with a legibly printed label,
then haul that address back in
from the far side of an arm’s reach.

Time to shuck whatever shell
still rolls unopened in the surf
of the tossed and blanketed.

Cool Master Lil' Miss

Shiloh's art-filled hoodie argyle,
warmly snugs young miss, save Charlie,
he rallies firm, quick briefs the term,
timely step shifts the sundial,
gray culls while golden spears briefly,
while life roams its normal lifestyle,
e'er discerning events may change,
as felled leaves crowd in a stockpile,
squashing in passing was gnarly,
quick briefs the term, he rallies firm,
her hand in his made all worthwhile.

Sheeth Metal

I heard it from an anvil
the metal brookside churning
and fire brass inferno
that later took my silence inside a broken shadow
I heard it from an anvil
he spoke of words unweilding
like protozoa brooding
and elvin skin and tatoo freaks a smooching
paused from all the moods swings
to sway back forth my lewd crude oozing
tis the nose, let forth my conviction
as high notes poke a choke she goosed in
im fused in an entirely
perplexed with latex anamolies
that ruse my use of snugs unloosed
running passed the idlers of traffic
to make my stops in crests of the topless
oh dear to touch the moon how so without rockets
these chests that dropp mosh pits
developing my nocturnal hog fits
a pest with unrest that bests the rock lists
i send one note out to you
this is my pavement to mock this

Love You Bugs

LOVE YOU BUGS,

YOU HUGS, AND TUGS

AND YOU EVEN SOMETIMES SNUGS

BUT ONE THING THAT, YOU DON'T DO, IS DRUGS.

A Palace and Not a Prison

Friends may cleave and leave at will,
foes may scold and scare us uphill.
Love goes on when we learn and know
that pains and gains are part of the show.

Men and women are configured for connection,
and also destined for... disconnection.
When our faith dawns, fears depart;
even when forever-friends fall apart.

Roses smile when kissed by the sunray...
They frown when blue skies turn gray.
In life, wheat and weeds grow together;
time and season tells us which one to gather.

The Sun snugs the sky at morn and noon,
and leaves at night for Stars and Moon.
The Sun, Stars and Moon have their time;
leaving and cleaving is not a crime.

Friends may leave without real reasons,
yet we should learn some real lessons:
Our heart is a palace and not a prison,
good and bad folks have their season.

Pseudo Hate

Don't oppress yourself to
impress all men,
why depress yourself,
dying in life's den.
Only cocks should crow,
dear mother-hen;
express with your eggs,
shun ink-less pen.

Luminous are thy lips,
colour-laden,
they glow but within lies
the burden;
sunlight lavishes your lawn,
miss Garden
why can't your dusky
wrinkles be hidden?

Tell the noon that twilight
awaits,
and fragrance may flare in
the air of fate;
tame your bloom when
comes a bait,
love looms when desire
snugs pseudo-hate.

Love

While the twilight last, when the flowers
frowns and
the garden sheds it's glow, I held your heart in
the
arms of aura, feeling the heat of love as thy
pleasant
petals blossoms in my field...returning the kiss
while
the sun snugs our skin.
