The Pope slams US Catholic leaders
who won't 'embrace meaningful change'
Yet he praises Russia's 'proud history'

The old fool can't even spell 'embarrassed'
Joe Biden really thinks he can scare us
He claims he's the boss here
Though his vision's not clear
Threatens to send K Harris to Paris

Fierce tempest slams its maddened jeer
while gush of flood crashes offshore ;
then to our village…loud winds roar
as piercing thunder grows severe:
Upon tide's crest pale mollusk floats
Adrift in waste, oaks droop away
That cabins old swish in the bay,
Rattling wooden docks and tugboats.
At last, end of hour’s pour departs --
glints the sunlight reigning morn’s climb
to lift day’s qualm and wake fresh lime,
of scented air easing men’s hearts.
In prayer , we ask Mother Earth
for weather tranquil like skies blue ,
vowing to tend nature, anew
till forests bloom, this life’s rebirth.

'We would stand a better chance of survival
if we accommodated ourselves to this planet
and viewed it appreciatively...” E.B. White

The door slams on our faces
And shuts out our beauties, boasts and brains
Out there are bubbly buds tended with keen hands
That knew not any of our lures and lores
The wells of hope we thought of drawing from
Suddenly shut up its springs from us
The smiling cabin crew in line of duty
Ever playing hosts and toasts to welcomes
Now their dreadest fears embrace
Our buddies that planned to beat time
Suddenly had time outrun them to the finishing line
The pulpit man takes his turn to meet with his sermon
The shopper picks up an unbargained item in her cart
The family that had thought of a quick reunion
Suddenly had it postponed till afterlife
The goodbyes of breadwinners at the tarmac
Turns out as the last and final one
None death dared to rever
Not even for the love we shared

Slams Destroyed Her Head
She was slammed by slam poetry, boo hoo!
Some folks wondered about the hullabaloo.
When bombarded with dread,
Sad thoughts destroyed her head.
Now, she thinks she’s a blithering cuckoo!

The echo awakens the dead
My shaking body moves for a closer look
The grain on the solid door is unique
Indentations appear deep in the fiber
Broken fingernails and wood slivers together on the floor
There is no handle
I hear a voice, but nothing is said to me
I am alone
Locked in a room with exit signs everywhere
Only one door
With no way out
Please open it from the outside

A Flytrap slams shut
Blink
of
an
eye
And a stone
splash
sink
at twilight
Down to the
core
of
essence
Silent and formless the bottom
close eyes
strain to hear
listen
listen
ah!
There is your heartbeat
A pair of
deadweight
arms
wrapped around
A Parasite!
the Flytrap
closing
in
on
yr
heart
Once invisible, now bathed in the
spotlight
for an instant!
Kill It!
Rip out the roots!
No
remorse!
There! Aha!
The
Thing
is
dead!
and now you are
