Books To Wrap

A lot of books hooked down
At his boutique upside down
To wrap goods sold in his town
The way at school he had done

Premium Member Wrap Me

We used to laugh, we used to cry.
We used to sweat, we used to dry.
We come and go, with "ho" or "hi"
Under the sky, we used to try.
Talk low and high, with "yo" or sigh.

False Patriots Wrap Themselves In the Flag

The conservatives
Like to Fly the Flag
Wrapping themselves
In the flag
As they loudly proclaim
That they are the only patriots
As they defile the flag
With their hatred

Premium Member SOMEONE TO WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND

In life…things will not always go the way we’d like…
In the midst of our joy…sad moment will be found.

May we be blessed when those moments arise
to have someone to wrap our arms around.

Bubble Wrap

memories in bubble wrap
carefully put away
bring them out and look at them
on a rainy day

some are happy, some are sad
I look at some and smile
wondering why it didn't last
as they are refiled

Nature's Wrap of Clothes

The sun beams down on me like a hat.
The pine falls down to be my hair.
The sand rise to make my face.
The wind wraps me as clothes
With the sand making
my hands and feet.
Grass grasps my
feet as
shoes.

Premium Member Gray Wool

hoped for
white down
but it's
saran wrap
settling dust
soak staining
weathered wood
laquering streets
warming bars
and hearts
gray wool
hugging the earth
softly
snuggling me
on this
see-your-breath
morning

Premium Member Wrap-Wrap

I come in different shades,
Like the ones in a rainbow cake.
I taste in different shapes,
I was mixed like a milkshake.
I was blended with coconut milk
As soft as silk.
Try me,
You'll never forget me.
Or else
I'll wrap you myself!

I want to wrap off my dreams I want to unwrap my screams
 Want to unfold my affections there is death an recreations
 I don't want any noise I want to hug your voice

Wrap It Up

Nobody ever said
that true love had to
wait
They just said let sex
be late
"No glove no love"
was what was said to
me
Bc if it's uncovered
might come out with
a baby or a STD
Be smart, do right by
God, nd dont let them
get their way
Bc HIV nd kids are
here to stay

Premium Member Arms Wrap Around

Arms wrap softly around her now
How long it has been since
She came to taste of the great love,
And  of His love convinced

Cool morn's air coats both writer and
Chair, fog's dampness coats all
The gentle breeze pleasant as dew
It's cool presence enthrall

Premium Member Winter Wrap

During day, to escape the bite of chilling frost
People sit close to the hearth burning fuel
At night, slide their torso into beds padded tight
And wrap themselves in several folds of wool
To emerge later from cocoons to butterflies, cool

Premium Member It Is a Wrap

let me see that!
two cheetahs looked together into one cell phone
neither of them appear pleased
Selfie take twenty-two one announces
it is so difficult working with persnickety cheetahs
says the assistant director
It’s a wrap says the director, worried now because
one bares his teeth
and the other one begins a chase

It's a Wrap

We wrap up a present,
Wrap up a tale;
Wrap a package that we plan
To send out through the mail.

We wrap a scarf around us;
Wrap some cold cuts tight,
So the insides won't fall out
Each time we take a bite.

A comic wraps his set up
And now the time is here,
As I am sure you've figured out,
To wrap up one more year.

Premium Member Bubble Wrap

I fear I am going to be buried
with emotions I’m suffocating in;
Wrapped up I pop those bubbles;

Filling the air many size bubbles,
poke a hole I’m no longer buried;
A blanket that I can breathe in;

Through the hole light comes in
illuminating the moody bubbles;
Optimism floats sour is buried;

With a smile I lie buried in bubbles.

Wrap Me In Your Comfort

Wrap me in your comfort Let me melt inside your eyes Kiss away my salty tears Embrace me where you lie Undress me with your passion Sooth me with your song Tease me with your tenderness Drive me crazy all night long Be my pillow when I need one Blanket me with your loving care Cradle me in your arms of satin Be the answer to my prayer

Premium Member Luscious Strawberries My Tongue Can Wrap Around

Sister,
Hurry. Hurry.
Stop dilly-dallying,
The ice-cream truck is coming round.
If we don't hurry up it'll have a crowd.
Another scorching humid summer day.
How I'd fancy this afternoon
A dish of ice-cream topped
With strawberries,
Sister

Wrap it Up

Nothing excites or amazes me now, I've either done it, seen it Or heard about how. I can read it, need it and heed it in 2 hours But there's nothing out there that really inspires, Not like way back when, as I'd brood at the thought Of backpacking in Asia or something of the sort No. Now, though I'm thankful I'm alive and breathing, Such a pity that humanity oft leaves me seething

Premium Member One Last Gift To Wrap

One gift left to wrap
but I still have that hid
because the cat is watching me.
He's like a sneaky kid.

He's not dumb,
he knows the score,
there has to be
at least one more.

All the kids have left the nest.
It's just JonSnow and I.
and if he was a human
he'd make a damn good spy.

I figured he would fall asleep
and I could finish wrapping
but he's on to me and I don't see
any chance of him napping .
