Politicians are skilled at squirms
which indubitably confirms
one cannot bake
a cake from snake
by opening a can of worms
Fuzzy fluff is in style
Yellow chicks yellow smile
Eating worms so wild

A fish stood up in AA.
Oh boy, what he had to say!
" Hi. I'm Mister Yearns,
Stay away from worms,
I got hooked after one day!"
Dirty worms squirming
Excavating with instinct
Wiggle brown wormy ~
Shoveling thick dirt
Accidently cut a worm
It wiggles in pain
red breasts aurora
a round busy worms eating
into the thick mud

written words by James Edward Lee Sr.
I saw a great many worms today
As they came out in the rain to play.
I said, “in this party, don’t partake -
You are making a big mistake.”
Maggots and worms, maybe snails
look forward to them after death
Consider that whenever
you take a deep breath
Dedicated to David Meade The Haiku Master
Worms have real bad luck
Always getting hooked on things
Sounds fishy to me

OUR BODIES
Our bodies
are practically entrances
and exits
for the open-
ended drama of gore.
Even in the grave,
worms, white
as if practically all fat,
loot us dry.
The most Compleat Angler that's ever been
A zillion worms he'd gleefully dangled
Lies cold and squirming, and sadly doth glean
He's feast for the worms used while he angled
Early birds get
Worms
Is getting consumed
By birds
The fate of worms
That turn up early?

With each step: one, two, three and the next,
To the grave down thy feet thou move ahead;
Worms and all that wait there for their feast
Shall devour thy eyes, thighs and thy tired feet.
Blue worm eased into his warm tea bath with love
The balmy weather was as lovely as the sky above
He soaked his tail, and he drank a bit of ale
A worm who was used to a sauna, without fail
Dusk bedecked as bride
Finds clouds blocking sunny pride
And then night spread blight,
Thanks to a few glow worms’ light,
Honeymoon waxed like a tide.

Worrisome wiggle worms
wishfully wiping Wedgewood windows,
wandering within William’s whiskers.
Wisely wriggling while wistfully waiting
for whoops within William’s whiskers,
wiggle worms wandering winsomely.
Corona Virus..... oh shut up or shut down?
We are all in the same crisis run-a-round.
With or without Trump and Brexit it's the same ole' coffin.
There's no cure for the gormless boffin.

After the rain I started to smell them
They have a distinct odor, not a fragrance
I had to walk carefully, as to not squash them
They were squirming on the sidewalk and in the grass
Night crawlers, giving me nightmares some nights
The earthworm molds the earth
Canker worms feed slowly
The truth in nature confirms
You may think you decide
but no, it is this way
‘cause the worms say it is so

Mummy says I shouldn’t eat juicy wiggly worms
She said that they are mucky and they’re full of nasty germs
I never take no notice though, and when she isn’t looking
I’ll eat some scrummy worms because, they’re better than her cooking

Apparently eating worms is a delicacy in some nations
So if you tell someone to eat worms, better know their location
Dangerous on the Internet
Some friends you just met
Will love you or hate you, it could damage your relations
Apparently eating worms is a delicacy in some nations

Will love you or hate you, it could damage your relations
Worm sliding round back of house,
Met, by chance, tiny soft mouse,
"How's all that dating stuff?
Dating the one is enough,
Worms stood the test of time,
Power to all our slime!
Worm love keeps us forever young,
Hermaphrodites have the most fun!"
I think I'll go dig up a bucket of worms for the day
I'll go out back where me and the dog play
After I am done,
I will put the worms out of the sun
And I'll talk to my dad
To see if any fishing could be had
For supper we can have fish on our plate
While death nears, it's wintertime in my soul, my
Once vibrant spirit tires out, no longer can I
Run with the wind like springtime in my flesh. Behind
My molars, worms will feed when death comes, then I’ll
Sleep in the heart of the earth until a better day.
Relax Honey... The Worms Will Play!
Oh honey one day,
We will both part;
To rot in graves,
And waste away:
Playing with worms,
And dancing with maggots,
As they climb all around.
Relax love all is well!
Soon we'll be down bellow,
Cavorting with the others, under the ground.
