Holding pillow tight
So I fall asleep tonight.

MADD mother of two makes it clear:
Drivers drink no spirits nor beer!
She bought a spot
In the parking lot
The tombstone reads, "Wish you were here"!

Premium Member The Postcard

I received a postcard with a picture of the entire planet earth taken from outer space.
On the back it read,"Wish you were here. Earth's one hell of a place."

When I Think of You

When nights are long & friends are few,
I sit by my window & think of you,
A silent whisper, a silent tear,
I love you with all my heart,
I wish you were here

Premium Member In All Honesty

'In all honesty'
   is rarely honest
Just as 'Sincerely'
   is seldom sincere

Yet still I long to tell you
   in all honesty
I sincerely wish you were here

Last Call

Jo King loved frothy tankards of beer
Which she drank every day of the year
Interred in a keg
She swallowed each dreg
So her tombstone reads, "Wish you were here!"

Premium Member Sorry

Sorry
just a word
I've said it so very many times
the meaning lost
feelings gone
I've hurt you so much
I wish you were here
sorry
and the tears fall

I sat on what we have always called our marked bench and smoked.
Just wish you were here with me, because we could have toked,
The sad thing is I only wish you would be a little more stoked.

Baby

Baby I wish you were here with me.
Because you're my everything.
For you there's nothing I won't do.
Because my heart belongs to only you.
Your name I written across my heart.
And we will never be apart.

Premium Member Savin' Sunshine

Sitting here over coffee
warn thoughts like smoke
filter slowly cross my mind.
Thinking of you dear
wish you were here.

Savin' sunshine darlin'
for some sunless day,
neatly filed darlin'
under "S" for stay.

Postcard From Paris

Seeing the Seine
and the Eiffel Tower view
it's not the same
without you
so feeling somewhat blue
toujours l'amour ma chérie
with this brief billet-doux
thought I'd drop a line
wish you were here
the weather's fine

Dream

i hate what the distance is doing to us
i wish you were here tonight

love once wandered
but we caught it
and we nearly lost it once
but God didn't let that happen

now we're bold
bravely we dream
of a life together

I Wish

I wish I was your only one. I wish I could still be your hun’. I wish I still felt your love. I wish you were here, because I seriously need a hug. I miss you, but I will never tell you… ~PeacemakerHeartbreaker102196~

Disappear

oh my dear
how i wish you were here
everytime i cry
and wonder why
i try to be the best
when i just want to rest
on my pillow
and just willow
away from this place
to never show my face
again to everyone
and never see the sun

Church

I look around the church

I see the mural I wanted to show you

You can see it

But you're not beside me

I feel as if you're disappearing

Even though you really aren't

I miss you

Wish you were here

For my dear friend Kylie

My Birthday Girl

as much as i wish you were here
i reach out and your gone.
and tho im sure you're safe, my dear,
my mind your sitting on
so tho u reach another year
you'll always be my child
now trust in GoD and face your fear
missing you drives me wild

Premium Member wish you were here

fresh as falling snow
warm as roasted chestnuts
sweet as candied truffles

i'm sending you
a care package
a special delivery

kisses by the dozen
across the miles
beyond the ocean
on this lonesome christmas day

Premium Member Thinking of You

Sitting with someone, a warm, open fire.
Someone else adds a fresh log or two.
I watch sparks climbing fire's golden spire,
more lovely when once I watched with you.
Star-crusted sky, moon a silken sphere;
tears fill my eyes...I wish you were here

Longer Fuse

Longer Fuse

I trace a mental picture of your face in my head
That's why I smile each night in my bed
God I wish you were here , How I love you my dear
Your why pillow cases come in Two's
I can no longer listen to blue's
And I have a much , much longer fuse
