Yellow it once was
Today it stands, yet wilting
Beautiful flower

Blue-Black

Deeper into the blue
My indigo shines bitter and cruel
Darkly ablaze through velvet haze
Like the wilting rays of a world-weary sun
Form:

Wilting Leaf

"The wilting leaf aches now for the drops that once caressed its waxy surface as
they slithered down in fury propelled by the rainstorm."

Thee Moonlight

The Moon Gathers, The full Bloom,
As the Blossum's shed,
Wilting Night, Thee tiss
a glowing Thread of Light,
tiss open thy to thee Eye...

Despoilation

Less lustered now, the once proud sheen
Of that silken-petaled rose,
As from the wilting touch of a hundred hands
Its fragrance, festered flows.

Created By Nature Reverse

Yellow it once was
Today it stands, yet wilting
Beautiful flower
Winds of time create
Flies
Fur flying off
Bear
Soft white
Snow fall
Moon created
Form:

I Am a Rose

Life's rose grew,

rising from the edges

of death's fire.

Not wilting from

the flames and pain,

only acquiring

incomparable

grace.

Wilting Heart

wilting heart
                                                   love water needed
                                                     with sweet smile

Whispers of Deception (Shards of The Soul, #5) Pt. 2

I tried to preserve the wilting flower,
Tried to protect it from its pain.
I did my best but failed at love,
And everything with my heart is to blame.

Even the Flowers

Even the flowers
On the table
At my bedside
Are wilting and dying,
This cold autumn night.

Won'T Work

Roses are red
Violents are blue
You are my soul mate
And I love you…

Roses are wilting
The violents are dead
This wont work out
Just go home instead…

Flowers
                Pretty fragrant
                Fading, waiting, dying
                Wilting all the while limp
                            Gardens

Sylvia

Is she not a woman,
and a flower, her children,
petals of flesh still inside,
even when deciding to die,
leaving a white wilting flower,
on the kitchen floor.

Premium Member Red Cupidity

Love has gotten the best of me
Heart lost to bitter acidity
Cupidity is my heart

Wilting as it was discovered
Jilted for another lover
And yet here we are

Fall Lunes

Fall

Swirling fiery hues
A chill settles
Cardigans and chai

Falling

Leaves wilting faster
Motionless, watching it all dissolve
Transforming to embers

Raison D'Etre --- Reason To Be

Just

laying

in his arms

always heals me

when I realize his touch gives me rest.

His touch is so refreshing that I am

resorted to

a wilting

happy

mess!

Dont Cheat

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
You are my boyfriend,
And I love you!

But the roses are wilting,
The violets are dead,
I've heard you've been cheating.
I'll knock off your head.

Exposure, a Sijo

A glinting light fabricated under wilting hallows;
Yet darkness reigns as truth through fallow lanes runs hoarse and shallow;
So light as heaven's feather be the turns of ray and shadow.

No New Colors

With no new colors
Pure as driven snow
White water
Washes my deserted
cuts clean
Same as before
Same as it ever was
Cue the exit music
For the family
branches
Are wilting again

In the Window

Hurting and wilting.

Silent.

Indifferent.

Boring and never moving.

I am a flower on a windowsill.

People are kind to me.

But I am lonely.

Because flowers don’t have friends.

Premium Member Sudden Sin

The silky satin of sudden sin
defeats the desire to stay prim,
and burns beneath the bowers
with unrequited urgent powers,
waiting, wilting wasting time
teasing and trying to make it rhyme!

She

Time lies not blameless for the faded, wilting bloom,
But has not dimmed its beauty,
Must not she harbour reflections of awakening Springtime,
But surrender to the Advent of the winter of her life.

Let God Sort Me Out

Forgive me for being the wilting flower
In your bed of perfection
Forgive me for my silence
When I cannot shout

And If I should fall
Where darkness is waiting
Call heaven
Let God sort me out..

Wilting

Always a climber they said.
Hardy, perennial, no need for a bed.
But the ditch was too deep,
My roots could not keep,
Your watery words
Infected by hers.

How could I grow?
You kept me in shadow.
