Please can I borrow
Until tomorrow
A shiny silver shilling
I promise I will pay it back
If my willpower is still willing
Willpower is hard to brake, so do not be a fake, do not jump in the lake
but have a piece of cake and you have to stay awake.
Those who will
won't say won't
They will say will
won't they
Those who won't
won't say will
They will say won't
won't they
So very proud
I just quit smoking
Five minutes ago
Nothing to it
I've quit smoking
Thousands of times
Just takes willpower...
For Joann's "Shanzi" contest
Worshippers of nature
Who are rarely even
Wicked as some assume,
Wiccans use rituals
Wanting to focus their
Willpower to bring the
World the joy of living
There are strange wanderings
in the souls
of the most common of men
Where willpower and intellect
come together
—pointing the way
(Dreamsleep: February, 2023)
ah, the perils of intermittent fasting...
Cravings call my name at night,
cookies whisper soft delight;
willpower flees out of sight~
salad waits alone.
A dragon
is a person of powerful valorous spirit
who doesn't flinch in the sight
of millions of swords and guns
pointed at him with bloodlust
as his willpower acts as a shield
to stand up in the greatest adversities
I'm a very spritely fellow when I arrive on the scene
Coz Sprite's my favorite beverage next to caffeine
Ain't addictive this stuff
Well not really that much
Could stop without a problem, I'm a “willpower queen”
Regret runs through my mind.
Secrets I thought, none would find.
My willpower ebbs
For I am a spider, caught in its own web.
The decisions I have made
Set up this barricade.
I rue this life I led
For I am a spider, caught in its own web.
Of that known of time, how much was learned by watching sand?
Why are the lessons learned so hard to convey; to teach?
Between the past and future; precious, this moment at hand.
A man’s willpower decides what’s real; what’s beyond reach—
Thin Mints, an oxymoron
Heavy Mints is spot on
I think willpower deserves a badge
Never can eat just one
My goal? To make a Scouts’ pledge
I hem and haw and hedge
No more cookies, I wail
Try as I might I fail
So I eat the whole sleeve instead
I caught the disease before the deadline
before my mid-life crisis
the reinvention
Who can wait for the epiphany of self-discovery?
I’ll force myself to find my passion, and I’ll be great at it,
the best
and it will be entirely willpower
Maybe
Ask me tomorrow
Form:
Propped up on willpower strong
Wants and needs in war prolong
Tested far beyond my means
Clinging tight to hopes and dreams
Each day teeters on near collapse
Strength in danger enabling relapse
Endless trials pain and sting
What new battle will tomorrow bring?
First intent for a Tail Rhyme poem
Light has appeared between the cloud
Warding off shadows of becloud
Appearing hope as a symbol
Giving a sense of willpower
Faith as strong as a high power
Speaking for yourself very loud

I’ve tasted a morsel of darkness,
In the frantic fleeing from sight.
And I’ve searched in every crevice -
For the thing that let me fight.
- But I couldn’t find the time to stay,
Or the willpower to go.
And because of that I’m stuck in clay -
In the place I used to know.
Puppets can laugh and talk
Cry and walk and mask many emotions
For human pain and for all to gain there aren't any magic potions
To enact what's right
Fight the good fight
For Society as a whole
We must persevere
Through willpower sheer
Morality comes from the Soul

IN AND OF WILLPOWER
Yes, strong willpower
Is a great thing;
But what is willed,
Requires much work
In order to be attained:-
And such work demands creativity,
And truth of the heart and the brain:-
Finally, if such is truly to be fulfilled,
It must indeed be, of God’s holy will:-

What's the hardest thing to do?
It all comes down to life and you.
Lest you find your self controlled,
Learn to harness will, behold.
Power to choose within your soul,
Overcome and destroy control.
With your mind you can achieve,
Endure through, you must believe.
Resist temptation, prepare celebration.

Caring, Competitive, Compassionate, Concerned
Wife to none, yet a sister, daughter, friend
Lover of laughter, music, and knowledge
Feels enthusiasm, willpower, and courage
Fears the death of love, closed-mindedness, and the sight of blood
Who'd like to see Venice, London, and Rome
Born in a nestled Rocky Mountain home

I have had a blessed life.
and a wonderful childhood.
I have no desire for material objects, no ego, no want.
What I've always believed is that love conquers all.
Have hope, spread the word of love and peace whenever possible.
We will get to the next level by the willpower of the human spirit.
Good shall overcome evil, have faith and hope.
My sweet tooth becomes the bane of my existence
The very reason for my all consuming cravings
Be banished thou distasteful bean
Allow me of a good figure to dream!
Wherever I turn thou claims your presence
Hue so rich, aroma so wholesome! I wince
You delight in your delicacy yet you fail to see
My willpower I warn you will someday come back to me!!
Wow! You're so full of wisdom and willpower
Obedient and loyal always
Never negative and narcissistic
Delightful in every way possible
Encouraging and special - full of endurance and motivation
Radiant and optimistic you've turned out to be
Flourishing in an invigorating manner
Understanding and kind-hearted
Lovely and wonderful just the way you are
I ask for all the pain,
My potential is bound in the chain,
I ask for all the struggle,
My wings caught in rubble.
I ask for all the tears,
More than my eyes bears,
I ask for all the challenges,
In silence my mind plunges.
I ask you to break my will,
At the bottom of the hill I lay still,
But I will make sure to rise,
For my dreams, I want to realise.
