destined for anywhere
Each pathway a mantra

Howling Wilderness
windswept
bleak treeless plain
white blanketed mountains
permafrost hardened ground, I am
alone
sounds of wilderness
echo under scorching sun

In her wilderness
Snow covered conifers, quiet

The paneled green door
opens to a sea of blooms-
purple passion fumes
A garden door to still bliss
at the edge of wilderness.
There's no need to boil drinking water
from a fresh water stream
if your intention is to afflict yourself
with a dose of dysentery.
the ancient fortress
surrendered to time and ruins
becomes just another
wilderness landscape captured
by the photographer's lens.
The frontier of violence
strange land of our making
Wilderness of bones and blood
—buried in our fear

Wilderness asking, Alpha & Omega, to bow and worship him: ludicrous.

Winters freezing wilderness.
Icebergs gliding silently.
Mirror stately sailing ships.
Frozen into ice.

thy soul
is lost
in the
wilderness haze
lost between
the tall
green pines and

to walk
closer with thee
Among dry-stalk yerba-santa,
who could have planted
these nameless
flowers in blue and lavender,
saffron, magenta,

at the vast wilderness, endless snow,
" Autumn is coming " he said to his wife,

wild ideas pound into my head
others don’t hear them, right?
My primal self follows them as if they are urges
I leap into life’s wilderness
to be totally me

the drought of the wilderness...
Always always....
We also wish snow
snow... light
even briefly...

searched for a piece whole
in need of the seed renewed
to enlighten the whole world.
