A Memory

A memory of something nice,
At Christmas, we made coconut ice,
And White Christmas squares,
Plum pudding showed the care,
Sixpences planted in the pud,
Gee, those treats tasted good!

My giddy girl bowed to pray.
Please God, would it be okay?
Send tropical snow this year.
Freeze the sun that I can cheer,
"White Christmas!", our anthem true,
Powdered ice-cream on Mom's shoe.

Not White Christmas

That dream where staircase
turn to oil beneath feet
and like quickening sand
drags you underneath
appearing in a bastard black sea
blackend sky and black clouds shiver by
sun black hole siphon off the light
and black beach
never felt feet
and in the screaming black
i look back

Snow

predictions for a white Christmas
look hopeful with the first few snowflakes

festive feelings overflow as it lays
and heavy snowfall follows,
the ground covered in white

laughing like a child,
I run out to the garden
to build a snowman

slip and fall,
broken leg,
bored indoors

Embrace the Day

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and universe : competition

Embrace the breeze
which heralds freeze
to conditions please
a white Christmas

Premium Member White Christmas

Presents opened by the hearth,
Gifts of goodness from the heart.

Christmas snow is falling down,
A fresh white blanket for the town.

Little eyes are opened wide,
Snowmen and angels dance inside.

A pure "White Christmas" for us all.
Warm inside, we watch it fall.

Happy as our hearts are lifted,
A Christmas present God has gifted!

Premium Member The White Christmas Tree

When the tree stand up
Branches one
Are put into place
The cord lights are wrapped
Around the whole tree

Next the blubs areup
In red, green, white, gold
Nomes , red trucks, cupcakes
All laced on the tree
Then more blubs are placed

Making the white tree
Beauty stand out more
Then Sparkles lay down
On the tree skirt
Content to be there
